Very glam vintage Egyptian revival bib necklace by the artist Ruth Buol. Circa 1965. Goldtone metal drops with huge faceted glass stones in aqua an iridescent aurora borealis colors are suspended from a goldtone chain. The backs of the drops are enameled in pale blue to match the aqua stones. With paper stickers marked BUOL and EGYPT I and with the original price of $110. A fabulous statement piece.

A 10k rose gold garnet bar pin from 1880-1910. This simple and elegant 1-7/8" brooch features a central claw-set rose cut garnet. It has a stylized c-clasp, it measures 3/16" across the garnet and it tests as 10k gold (it is unmarked). It weighs 2.5 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs...

This Cadoro green,orange, yellow and brown enameled pin celebrates the " 12 days of Christmas" song. It is 2 7/8" x 1 3/4". This pin is in excellent condition.

This beautiful 25" long chain has very interesting links. Every other one is textured, and the others are a double link with a bead detail. The links measure approximately 5 mm across. The chain is probably English made and is marked "18" on the clasp. It is in excellent condition and the overall weight is 31.9 grams. It is the perfect companion for any locket or fob. We have it showcased with locket J1932.

An extremely fine 14K white gold and pearl brooch by Mikimoto. Even by Mikimoto’s standards, the pearls are particularly good quality, with cream body color and strong rose overtones. The pearls are also quite generously sized, ranging from 7.85mm to 8.35. The surfaces have only slight natural blemishes and offer superb, clear reflections. AA pearls of this size were only rarely used by Mikimoto in brooches, as they were more often set aside for use in strands...

A classic look from a well-known Italian designer. Made of scored, slightly twisted links, each link bisected by a textured bar. Bracelet has full set of marks, indicating a registration city of Arrezzo, Italy, and .800 silver content. Bracelet measures 9 inches long, including chain; inserting bar clasp into the second-to-last link reduces the length to 8 inches. Weight: 52.3 grams

An organic mid century modern brooch by the American studio jeweler, Harry Osaki (1904-1985), who worked in Pasadena, California. Reminds us of a stylized fish.

This brooch, executed in sterling silver with an oval turquoise colored stone, measures 2 7/8" long and 1 1/2" at the widest.

Marked Osaki, Hand-Wrought and Sterling on the back.

Has a rollover safety clasp that holds securely. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches.

Majolica brooch from Karlsruhe, Germany, c 1960. Low relief geometric design and turquoise crackle glaze. Impressed mark and a Z in black, probably for the decorator. Width "1 ¾ / 4.5 cm. Condition: repair to one corner (cf. pics). What might look like damages in the first photo are just reflections.

A magnificent and generously-sized Essex crystal set in a 14K yellow gold brooch and pendant mounting. The reverse carved crystal depicts a marshland scene with a group of ducks taking flight from a fox that has invaded their nesting ground. The scene is painted in the most delicate shades that aptly fit the fineness of the carving. The brooch is backed with mother-of-pearl that provides a distinctive luminosity to the scene...

This fine piece is made of silver, with a gold wash: vermeil. It is a brooch and pendant measuring 1 3/4" x 1 1/2". The large, Eilat stone, a gemstone, has great color, is bezel set and measures 1 1/2" x 1" x 1/8". The back is marked SILVER with the Hebrew letters meaning "silver" that sound like "kesef" in English, (from right to left kaf, samech, feh). The are a couple of other hallmarks beneath. This piece has good heft: 1 ounce / 28 grams. It is in great condition...

A vintage hand wrought sterling silver brooch from the American Studio Modernist jeweler, John Lewis. Made up of multiple circles at different heights and contrasting textures. You can see the light hammering around the edge.

Measures about 2 1/4" across and 2" high. Heavy and substantial. Weighs 38 gr. Marked Sterling and with the crossed JL mark of the artist. It is marked under the pin making it difficult to photograph.

From a Cape Cod collector one finds this sleek curvilinear silver cuff bracelet stamped: STERLING with a fab picture jasper cab as the focal point. A nicely-detailed late Victorian pin depicting a lion’s head. The open mouth grasps a 10-point old European-cut diamond, while each eye is set with a small cabochon ruby. The head is surrounded by flowing fur that hints at Art Nouveau styling. The design is similar to a tiger’s head brooch that was made by Alling & Co., and probably was made by one of Alling’s Newark competitors. The c-clasp is an old replacement. Tested and guaranteed 14K gold.
