Very nice 14 karat yellow and rose gold brooch in the Retro Modern style, set with a single deeply lustrous 4.5mm pearl. The circle is rose gold, and the leaves are a slightly green-tinted yellow gold. The interplay of gold colors is a signature of period Retro Modern jewelry. The back is marked by the jeweller, A. J. Hedges & Co.

Hard to find the William Spratling wood and swirl cross in this fine condition with a Spratling chain as well. The chain is 21 inches long and has solid silver links. The drop with bale is 2 5/8 th inches long and 1 and 5/8 th inches across. It bears the old 980 hallmark and weighs 63 grams of thick silver.
A handsome pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks by Tiffany & Co. set with square cut sapphires. The cufflinks are fashioned in a sort of modified belt buckle motif. The sapphires have very good uniform color and show no indication of heat treatment. The backs are stamped Tiffany & Co. and also have the manufacturing jeweler’s mark for Larter.

This mid-century bracelet by Antonio Pineda is unique and unusual. And a real stunner.
It reminds me of a tiara, or a crown. Tipped with nine pearls, executed in 970 silver, it's a heavy and substantial hand-wrought showpiece. Hinged at both sides to open wide and easily fit over the wrist, closure is a tight and secure tongue in box. Collector quality.

Halbe was an American firm, located at 411-5th Ave. New York circa 1950-1963 (thank you to Illusion Jewels for the information and a great research site). This exceptional verre eglomise rock crystal panel depicts a maiden in classical dress playing with a hound. She sits on a plinth in a clearing with cypress trees in the background. The scene is backed with grayish mother-of-pearl that seems to create a sky of swirling clouds. The reverse of the pendant is simply finished with pale grayish-blue silk. The plaque is simply mounted in an 18K yellow gold frame with a bail at the top...

A thin bangle with textured surface is set with four faceted natural rubies. They are bezel mounted with open backs, securely soldered to the bangle. The rubies are highly included and probably untreated; one has slight surface abrasions. The bangle has a 2 ½-inch internal diameter, and an inner circumference of about 8 inches. Each setting measures about ½ inch by 3/8 inch. The bangle is 1/16 inch wide. It is marked 925 for sterling silver.
A very heavy 14K yellow gold tie bar set with a blue sapphire by Tiffany & Co. The classic design features engraved lines arranged in a sunburst pattern emanating from the gypsy-set sapphire at one end. The sapphire is graded as medium strong very slightly breenish blue (vslgB 5/5), very good cut and Type II eye-clean clarity. The back is marked by Tiffany & Co. and also “14K”.
