Very finely crafted repoussé and pierced silver gold washed medallion, depicting a laughing Immortal riding a Qilin, he carries a lingzhi stem in one hand a lotus pod in the other. Late Qing Dynasty circa 1890-1910. This was probably sewn onto a garment or hat likely a part of a wedding outfit- (6.5cm x 5.5 cm, 6 grams). A fine Edwardian 14K yellow gold stickpin featuring an reverse-carved Essex crystal head depicting the blue and white striped burgee of the Larchmont Yacht Club. The crystal is well-carved, with bright coloring and no signs of water damage or separation. The crystal is finished with a mother-of-pearl background. Amazing set of two vintage 1970s turquoise beaded necklaces with sterling silver clasps. The beads are graduated and carved in soft barrel shapes. Hand knotted with matching silk thread. The necklace clasps are marked STERLING and also marked B.A.B. These are possibly Native American made; they came from an estate with a large quantity of Native American pieces. The turquoise beads have a fabulous hand carved softly polished slightly matte rustic finish. Together they weigh 272 grams...

An exceptional pair of Victorian carved ivory and 9K yellow gold earrings. The earrings are fashioned as exquisitely detailed cherubs, each suspending three elongated drops. The drops are arranged in the typical girandole style with the central piece hanging lower than the outer elements. With hallmarks dating 1940-1945, this spectacular bracelet is a very rare and early creation from Los Castillo. It's a huge showpiece, with six rectangular faceted amethyst gemstone surrounded by tiny silver beading. This strand of colorful glass beads from Japan, consists of 25 beads. They have never been used. They are oval-shaped with gorgeous work, best described by the pictures. Each bead measures 3/4" long and graduates to approximately 3/8" high. They are circa 1940's and very scarce.

The story of this Mexican Deco silver and turquoise hinged bangle is an interesting one. When it came to me, it had a rather hastily applied gold plating that looked both out of place and, should I say?, garish. I cannot understand why anybody would do such a thing yet many a time, in discussions with older bench jewelers, I have been told that a few decades ago this was indeed a trend of sorts...

The necklace measures 23" long. Has a secure hook closure. The drops in the center are 3 1/2" long. The cabochons are 1" long and 3/4" across.

This is truly an interesting and unique piece. The pendant / medallion is 2-sided. It depicts the 12 symbols of the Zodiac on the front. The center has a scroll that reads "LUCK" and/or "GOOD FORTUNE) in Hebrew (MAZEL). It has a diameter of 1 1/2". The chain is 24 1/2" long. The back displays the Zodiac names, dates and meanings of the symbols. This piece is gold tone. The front is in excellent condition. The back words and numbers are a bit blurred, due to age (see pictures)...

Striking and unusual this vintage sterling silver and amethyst ring was designed and signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico & American artist William Spratling(1900-67). Handmade 14k bangle by Ronald Pearson, Rochester, N.Y., c.1950's. Although unsigned, I have previously had this design in both gold and silver signed by Pearson. Beautiful turned design, it is a classic modernist piece. The oval design measures 2 5/8" by 2 1/2" on the inside, and the inside circumference is 7 1/2". A very fine, heavy 18K yellow gold bracelet in the “Signature” or “Signature X” pattern by Tiffany & Co. This is a classic design that hasn’t been in production for quite some time. Each link is fully articulated so the bracelet lies nicely on the wrist. The clasp is marked “T & Co. 750”. Comparable bracelets at Tiffany currently retail in the $8,000 range.

This fascinating brooch features poppies with lovely curved flowing lines, mounted on an oval of mother-of-pearl. Poppies symbolize sleep (Dorothy in the field of poppies, on her way to Oz), rest, and eternal life. Lovely vintage brooch by Mikimoto featuring five stunning pearls set in a triple arch of sterling silver. The pearls, graduating from 5 to 5.5 mm, are of the finest quality. The body color is white with an ivory overtone. The lustre is excellent. The back of the brooch is stamped with Mikimoto's hallmark and "S" for sterling.
