A heavy and finely made pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the doorknocker style. The faces are attached with solid curved connectors to flip backs in a Moorish-inspired openwork arabesque pattern. The curved connectors cause the cufflinks to lie very flat against the cuff (despite their weight) for a really elegant appearance. The doorknocker motif has been a recurring element in French jewelry since Cartier introduced it during the Art Deco era...

Fabulous statement size long four tiered clip earrings with color changing alexandrite glass beads wired in silvertone filigree elements, in the style of Miriam Haskell and early Chanel, to look like Indian moghul jewelry. Circa 1960. The beads appear blue lavender in white light/daylight, and purple lavender in yellow incandescent light. Great size -- 3 3/4 iches long and 1 1/8 inches wide. Excellent condition. This lovely sky-blue enameled pendant tests as silver, probably sterling. It has two shades of light blue enamel on the front, highlighted by flourishes in silver. The dropper is also enameled in shaded hues of blue. The enamel continues on the back in sky blue – such wonderful attention to detail! Excluding the bale, it is 1-1/2” long by just under ¾” across...

This Mexican sterling bracelet has a warrior-like feel, with its shield-like openwork panels. The domed centers are set with small black glass cabochons that could be obsidian. The tongue-and-groove clasp is very secure, and the connectors between the panels exhibit are well soldered. The bracelet bears the unidentified mark of VGV (per Bille Hougart’s book), as well as a sterling mark surrounded by a circular Hecho en Mexico. It measures 7 inches long by a little over 1 inch wide...

A wonderful pair of late Victorian or early Edwardian sterling silver bean-back cufflinks, the oval faces cast with a delightful image of a beagle. The dog appears to be sitting in a basket with his paws hanging over the top edge. The detail is very nice. Tested and guaranteed sterling silver.

This ring is adjustable in size. The carved picture piece is bezel-set and measures 5/8" x 3/8". It is a lovely depiction of a Hummingbird. The carving is in black, sprinkled with red on the head. An interesting and attractive pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces fashioned as reeded batons. The batons have a concealed spring-loaded mechanism that attaches to swivel hinges on the pair of struts that hold the batons in place. We've never before seen this particular mechanism. The cufflinks are stamped with French 18K marks and also with the mark of the Parisian jeweler Gaétan de Percin...

An exceptional 18k yellow gold Victorian diamond and genuine sapphires ring dated 1890. This wonderful survivor features an oval rose cut diamond measuring 20-22 points by gauge flanked by four genuine cornflower blue sapphires. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1890-91 and it has the English registry cipher mark (unsual to find on jewellery). It weighs 3.6 grams, it has an A.A maker's mark. It would make a unique wedding band for those who would like more than diamonds...

This necklace was produced by P. Ochoa in Mexico City during the 1930's - 1940's. One seldom comes across the work of this silversmith, whose work closely mirrors that of Matilde Poulat. This necklace is hand-wrought with a carved onyx face/mask sitting within a highly detailed repoussé headdress. The centerpiece measures 1 13/16" x 1 15/16"...
