Large by Western standards, this is actually the "childs" size version of this foo dog necklace worn by the Chinese Miao minority 70-90 years ago. Made of low grade silver, typical of Chinese jewelry of the time period, the intricate pendant is 5.5 inches across, 6.5 inches long and suspended from a long hand-made chain. The heads of the foo dogs are in a pin which allows them to turn freely and the central "flower" is also suspended on a wire which allows it to spin...

This simple yet elegant gold washed lavalier evokes both the Nouveau and the Deco eras with its design. It measures 1-3/8” without the bale, and 1/2” at the widest point. It features 3 dark purple stones, which might be glass – we couldn’t identify them with certainty. The top stone’s facets are somewhat abraded, and there is wear to the metal. Circa 1920. 9 ct yellow gold Victorian flexible snake bracelet, adjusts to fit almost any size wrist. Total length (if unraveled and laid out) is approx 11.5 inches. Intricately engraved on both the head and tail, with 2 tiny garnets for the eyes. Extensively Hallmarked on the back of the head as follows: 375, S&P, and 3 hallmarks-- a basket, an anchor, and what looks to be a C or an L. Width of the bracelet is approx 1/4 inch. Excellent condition, easy to wear!

Exquisite Matl Salas Mexican silver, coral and turquoise brooch, I believe this piece to have been made in the years following Matilde Poulat’s death in 1960 based on the quality of the materials used and the high level of craftsmanship. Beautiful sterling silver bracelet signed by Los Castillo circa 1950's. Weight 90 grams, 3.01 oz. 2 repousse curved fern frond silver leafs connected by a tight spring hinge are used to form a bracelet 3 1/2" wide at the front tapering to 1 1/8" at the back. The inner circumference of the bracelet when closed measures 6 1/2" but expands to fit a larger wrist or arm. This design can probably be attributed to Margot de Taxco during the time that she was married to Antonio Castillo...
