Each of the handmade fancy links is further enhanced with elegant beaded decoration. An impressive Edwardian pendant featuring a large cabochon amethyst and diamonds set in platinum. The amethyst is pierced and set with a .25ct H/SI1 diamond and surrounded by a halo of small old European cut and rose cut diamonds. The bail is similarly set with rose cut diamonds. An elegant pair of earrings featuring Type A (untreated) green jadeite beads and 14K yellow gold beads taken from an ornate antique Chinese necklace (ca. 1900) that was far too worn to salvage. A delightfully whimsical late Victorian 18K yellow gold stick pin depicting a circus elephant balancing atop a pearl ball. The elephant is very nicely detailed. The pin stem is stamped with French 18K gold marks and with an illegible maker's mark.

An elegant pair of Imperial Russian 14K yellow gold cufflinks, each of the round faces set with with a pair of cushion-cut blue sapphires and a pair of cabochon rubies. The stones are good quality, with intensely saturated color. Chains connect the fronts to torpedo backs. There is a 10in span of 3 drops and 2 additional links connected to chain and a thick silver hook. The necklace has a wearable length of 17in. Each drop is a dramatic 2.5in. long and the silver to the links is also thick and made with precision repousse. With a hallmark of STERLING MEXICO and no dents or damage anywhere we have a very smart presence to enjoy. The weight is 52 grams which is heavy considering the 7 inches of chain. We have an obsidian stone Mask brooch that exhibits an exceptional gold sheen. The brooch is 2 in. by 1.5in. Signed RB and with eagle 3. The carving has no chips, cracks or damage. The gold sheen obsidian is getting harder to obtain today and this is a beauty. The silver work on the head dress is exemplary. It was difficult to get a picture of the sheen with my camera. The lighter color is the reflection from light casting on the sheen.

This design number 5231 is an abstract work that matches with the swans collection by Margot Van Voohies. Her work is always quality, thick repousse. The height is 1.25in. and 7/8th's wide. Collector quality without a doubt and with a big presence. No damage.
