Large Gusanos (caterpiller)Mexican solid gold earrings at 2inches by half an inch wide make for a grand presence. The weight is 7.3 grams of gold that tests from around 9kt to 12kt. These older filigree pieces are not signed and originate from Oaxaca. Absolutely lovely 2 rows of seed pearls are wired and tied off on the back and some solder over the ends finishes the durability of the piece. The seed pearls look more silver than the monitor shows them to be.

A handsome pair of Edwardian yellow gold cufflinks, the faces formed from barbell-shaped batons of green serpentine. The stone has an attractive semi-opaque pale green color flecked with black specks. Serpentine was often used as a substitute for jade. The gold backs are marked “9Ct”.

A bold sterling silver bracelet set with six large cabochons of dyed green chalcedony. The stones are set on round bezel mounts and secured by scored long prongs. The stones exhibit surface wear but no cracks or chips; they are unpolished, or possibly have lost the luster. It is well made, down to the soldered rings that link each mounting. A substantial sterling silver chain bracelet composed of two- and three-loop interlocking links. It has an unusual hook closure formed from a rolled panel of silver. It is marked 925 at one end and measures 7 ½ inches long by 1 ¼ inches wide. Weight: 60.6 grams

This sterling and parcel gilt link bracelet is composed of cast turbaned heads; the headdresses are gilded. There is a secure hook closure, with no signs of metal stress. The bracelet has a very bold design and bears the partial mark of Natacha Brooks, an American mid-century jewelry designer. The bracelet measures about 8 ½ inches long. Weight: 51.3 grams

Here is a bold, mid-century modernist money clip. It's composed of a flexible but sturdy forged-wire frame, with an applied mounted piece of rosewood in a trapezoidal shape. A silver half-bead is applied to a crossbar near the top. The wood has a polished surface and shows no damage or cracking. The clip is unmarked, but tests as sterling. It measures 2 ½ inches long by ¾ inch wide.

Here is a continuous sterling silver cable chain of nice heft, with a working swivel clasp marked sterling. The chain itself tests for sterling as well, and is sturdily made. The piece dates around 1920. The chain measures 28 inches inches long, and the bail and swivel add another inch. Weight: 29.3 grams

Early Mexico City open backed repousse cuff looks so fabulous without being embossed around the background of the roses because it makes the repousse really pop. This is a 1 10/16th in. wide and the diameter is 2.5in. There are no repairs, no dents and no light holes that come from poorly pressed silver. The roses are brisk and superbly dimensional. An excellent example and fabulous on.

A 950 silver Komai damascene panels bracelet circa 1900 1920. This scarce bracelet from Japan features eleven 1-1/16" x 3/8" loop-linked panels with inlaid silver and gold on a black matte (actually iron) ground. The panels resemble those in room dividing screens, and each has a different design and a simple engraved design on the back of the silver sections. It also has a long safety chain and a box clasp which is stamped 950 SILVER. This bracelet measures 7-1/8" x 1/1/8"...

A delicate but sturdily made openwork pin designed with a scrolled top set with faceted red glass. It has a modified C-clasp and is marked for .800 silver. There is also what appears to be the German word “geschützt” (roughly meaning “registered”) and an intertwined mark that looks like an R within a larger G. The pin stem is of brass and is marked “Metall.” There is a tiny nick to the glass stone, visible only with magnification. The pin measures about 2 7/8 inches long...

This delicate bracelet is decorated with sterling silver openwork floral panels that feature rectangular light blue aquamarines in bezel mounts. Each panel is connected by a ribbed link. The spring-ring clasp is original to the piece and in good working order. The bracelet is from the 1950s; it is unmarked, but tests as sterling. It measures 7 ½ inches in length.

Composed of oblong and rounded sides decorated with Middle Eastern-style motifs of embedded silver vines, leaves and stars. The cuff links are unmarked, but test definitively for silver. The bridge chains are securely fastened and composed of figure 8-like links; the wood and silver decoration exhibit no cracks or other signs of wear. The rounded sides measure just under ½ inch diameter. They are dated conservatively at around 1960.

Here is an elegant ring featuring six faceted pieces of smoky quartz mounted in a star-shaped sterling silver setting. A central silver star sits at the top. The band is marked sterling, and the stones show no signs of wear. The ring is sized 5 ¾; it sits 5/8 inch high.

A fine pair of mid-19th century 14K yellow gold double-faced cufflinks set with banded agate and gold-bearing quartz. A fine pair of modernist silver cufflinks by master Danish designer Niels Erik From. The large concave round faces are each set with a round amber cabochon in a dark reddish-orange color approaching that of cherry amber. The cabochons are set at the edges to create a very modern, assymetrical look. From moved away from traditional Scandinavian design in the 1960’s with very bold, angular designs such as this. The connectors are marked “Sterling/Denmark/N.E. From/925S”.

A wonderful hammered sterling silver neck ring with a large pendant of a fish in mosaics. Has an iridescent eye. Neck ring is approximately 16 1/2" around. An attractive pair of Scandinavian .835 silver cufflinks, the oval faces set with amber cabochons with silver ropework borders. The amber is a light orangey-honey color with excellent clarity. The solid connectors are marked only “835” for the silver content and “3” for a pattern number.

A beautiful pair of French 18K yellow gold double-faced cufflinks, the round faces decorated with deep green guilloche enamel bordered in opaque white champleve enamel. The gold surfaces under the translucent enamel are decorated with engine-turned engraving in a pattern of concentric circles studded with small dots in a starburst or snowflake arrangement. The faces are joined with the original chain connectors. The backs are stamped with French “tete d’aigle” hallmarks for 18K gold.

An approximately 0.40 Ct brilliant cut diamond with H color and VS2 clarity centers this classic late 1940’s early 1950’s 14Kt white gold engagement ring. A classic 1920’s 18Kt white gold and diamond openwork ring with geometric Art Deco elements is decorated by an approximately 0.35Ct old-miner center diamond and six smaller side diamonds, bringing the total diamond weight to 0.65Ct. The ring is in great condition.

This bakelite heart pin with 12 cherries is definitely bakelite. The heart is 2 1/4" x 2 1/16" with the 12 cherries. The only thing not original to this pin is the wire. Everything else is excellent.

A circa 1940’s estate platinum and diamond eternity band that is 7½ mm wide will fit a size 5½ finger for that Cinderella in your life. The band has an open-work design and is decorated by 30 full cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.75Ct.

This sunburst pin dates back to the very early 1900’s. The 1 3/8” diameter pin is made of 14kt yellow gold and is centered by a 5.5 mm cabochon opal. The Reja enamel goose brooch is 2 3/4" x 2 5/8".

The head is encrusted with tiny seed pearls and a red eye. Great detail. Well loved by it's former owner. There is very slight imperfections in the enamel on the lower body to the left of the front wing and few tiny spots on the wings. Overall great condition for its age.

This simple but sophisticated ring features a lovely, polished dyed blue chalcedony is securely prong set in a sterling silver mount. The setting displays openwork shoulders with light embossing. The inside of the band is marked sterling and shows an unidentified maker’s mark. The stone exhibits no scratches or other signs of wear. The stone measures stone 7/8 inch long by 5/8 inch wide. The ring is a size 5 ¼.

Reminiscent of the Renaissance Revival style, these intricately decorated earrings are set with central chrysoprase cabochons surrounded by faceted green glass stones. The earrings test as silver, date somewhere around 1930-1950, and are most likely .800 silver. Modern sterling silver posts have replaced screw back closures that were marked ‘SIL.’ Each earring measures ½ inch across and about ¼ inch deep.
