A maestro from the middle period of Mexico's 20th c. Silver Renaissance, Carsi is among those Taxco silversmiths about whom we don't really know much. A heavy pair of 14K gold cufflinks, the faces decorated with a sort of shield-shaped device against a stippled background. The influence of the Art Nouveau aesthetic can be seen in the assymetrical design of the shields. The semi-matte finish of the stippling contrasts nicely with the more polished shield. A terrific 18K yellow gold stick pin in the form of a German shepherd’s head. The detail work is especially well-done, with very accurate representation of the fur, the texture of the snout, etc. The pinstem is stamped with the “tete d’aigle” hallmark for 18K gold.

These great earrings are made by NAPEIR, during the 1950's-1960's. They were designed during NAPIER's sterling silver line that incorporated floral motifs and geometric shapes. A classic pair of Edwardian cufflinks by Krementz worked primarily in 14K yellow gold. Each face is formed from a carved mother-of-pearl disc set in an engraved platinum border and centering a cabochon blue sapphire. From the 1960’s Italy comes this exceptionally carved 33 X 42 millimeter oval shell cameo broach/pendant depicting the bust of a classic Roman beauty with flowers in her hair. The 14Kt yellow gold frame measures 41 X 51 millimeters and is marked 14Kt and 585. Besides the pin in the back there is a fold down bail that makes this great broach very versatile and wearable as a pendant as well.

Circa 1890 bangle bracelet made of 14k rose gold, diamonds and enamel. It has 20 Old European cut diamonds totaling approximately 1.4 ct.
