We are offering a necklace marked Silver Mexico and it weighs 60 grams of heavy repousse. There are 12 onyx cabochons and all the bezels are well built which certainly indicates a higher quality workmanship. The height is just under one inch. There are no chips, dents or repairs on this treasure. There is a dark natural patina that I have not touched. The S links are often associated with Matl, Matilde Poulat's work and they do give this necklace a very special appeal...

A modernist sterling silver brooch with a large raw amethyst stone by Charles H. Cole who signed his work with a face hallmark. The facial features spell out his last name. Also signed Sterling. A very well constructed pair of sterling silver and pearl cufflinks by Jean Lasnier. He was a member of the Metal Arts Guild between 1951-64 with many of the well known studio artisans of the Mid Century Modern jewelry movement. Cufflinks are made from two layers of curved sterling connected at the corners. They have an offset pearl attached to the under layer for a 3D effect. Measure 3/4" square. Toggles swivel. These hexagonal 14Kt tri-color gold cufflinks were made circa 1930. One side of each cufflink is centered by an old-mine diamond, bezel set in pink gold. The hexagon around the center diamond is made of yellow gold, and the outer edge is finely engraved with a branch design made of white gold. The approximate total weight of the two diamonds is 0.12 Ct.

This 14Kt white gold sapphire and diamond bar pin dates back to the 1920’s, and is in pristine condition. The center stone is an approximately 0.15Ct old-mine diamond flanked on either side by a 3 mm square cut sapphire. The length of the pin is 2 3/16 “and the width at the widest part is 5/8 “

The flowers appear to be floating in air on your wrist. The leaves balance the underside. All of this is orchestrated by a simple twisted wire frame. There is great depth with the construction of each flower. The beauty of this cuff is displayed in 2 inches of height and 7inches wearable length including the gap of just under one inch. You can see from the back that the flowers are open backed repousse made with thick silver. No chips or dents...

This great 3-piece set (parure, suite) has a modernist design, with leaves swirling into buds. The brooch is also a pendant. It measures 2 1/4" x 1 1/2". It is marked TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO STERLING 925 Assay Mark 3 and V.A. (for the silversmith). The earrings are screwbacks and measure 1/2" x 1 1/4", marked TAXCO V.A., as well. This 3-piece set is in great condition and has a good heft.

A particularly nice Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold brooch in the form of a floral spray. The strap-like leaves are worked in shaded green enamels, and the flowers are made from freshwater "dogtooth" pearls centered with old mine cut diamonds. The pearls have particularly attractive silvery luster and their irregular shapes beautifully mimic the frilly edges of flower petals. The back retains the original pinstem and clasp. Marked by Henry Freund & Bro.

A very nice pair of Victorian double-faced 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the oval faces set with trios of diamonds, rubies and sapphires. The diamonds are old mine cut, while the sapphires and rubies are cabochons. The colored stones are of very good color and show now indications of heat treatment. The gold surfaces are worked with the slightly matte Russian finish popular for higher quality jewelry of the period...

An iconic "Lentils" necklace crafted in hematite by Angela Cummings for Tiffany & Co. Cummings began designing with lentil-shaped beads in late 1980 and it became one of her hallmarks. This hematite necklace is punctuated with a single platinum lentil pave-set with round brilliant diamonds (G/VS1). The brilliance of the diamonds is particularly nice against the dark color of the hematite. The clasp is signed "Cummings", "T&Co." and "IridPlat".

These charming earrings have a delicate look but are sturdily made; they sit vertically on the ear. The screw backs are quite secure, and are marked sterling. The center of one bow shows a small manufacturing flaw. The earrings measure 1 inch long by 5/8 inch . Weight: 6.6 grams total

Composed of a continuous metal band wound around a glass cabochon, this pendant has a clever design and sophisticated look. It needs only a simple cable chain and a dark fabric to bring out the cloudy, art glass that highlights pale pink or gray, depending on the light. The pendant measures about about 2 inches long. The silver chain in the last photo is sold separately.

A beautifully executed pin that features a bezel-mounted oval dyed green chalcedony or chrysoprase, surrounded by a layer of leafy flowers and berries. This layer is composed of cast pieces individually applied to a serpentine wirework frame reminiscent of late arts and crafts design; dating would be 1930s or 1940s. This elegant link bracelet has the look and feel of a much more expensive piece, but is made of silver gilt and set with faceted pieces of glass meant to imitate amandine garnets. The seven scrolled cast panels are highly detailed and are linked with connecting rings that are seamlessly fused closed. The spring ring is original to the bracelet and in good working order, and the attached end panel bears the mark 800 for silver content as well as what appear to be the maker’s initials of H.F.W. ...

A very delicate and colorful bracelet, featuring gilded silver filigreed panels enhanced with blue and green enamel. The enamel is in lovely condition, with only tiny areas of loss. The tongue-and-groove clasp is very secure and shows some wear due to use (the clasp is silverplated). There is also a gold-filled safety chain not original to the bracelet. The tongue is marked 800 for silver content, and the Italian silver registry mark indicates either CE for Caserta or GE for Genoa and a date ran...

Composed of 8-mm carnelian beads alternating with rough wirework beads of a slightly larger size and low-content silver. There appears to be a mark struck on one link (see photo 5). The chain measures approx. 32 inches long, unclasped. A modern spring-ring clasp has been added.

Features an openwork scrolled border surrounding a goatherd tableau, this pin features a strong C-clasp and a nice aged patina. It bears both the silver mark of 830S and the partially worn maker’s mark of Nils M. Elvik, a conjoined NE in a horseshoe; the company was later named Elvik and Co. AS in the 1940s. (There are online sources that indicate this mark is for Nils Erik Elvik.) The additional mark of mønsterb. on the back signifies a copyright. The oval pin measures 2 inches long by1 5/8 ...

These double-sided, oval cuff links are undecorated and in very nice shape. The sides are joined by removable figure-8 bridge bars that are marked sterling. They are probably American-made. Each button measures 5/8 inch by 3/8 inch. Weight: 4.1 grams total

These cuff links feature a delicate geometrical design in pink and blue, hand painted under the glaze on a white ceramic ground. The buttons are framed by sterling embossed rims and are joined by removable sterling figure-eight bridge bars. The glazing leaves tiny gaps in some areas around the edge. They bear the mark of Coddington Bros. and Heilborn, of Attleboro, Mass., and measure ½ inch long by ¼ inch wide. Gross weight: 4.1 grams total

This triangular pin features a cabochon pink quartz set in a recessed bezel mount. It bears the mark of Danish maker N.E. From and the sterling mark. Deep patination on the front enhances the stone. The rollover clasp is very secure. The pin has a small nick to the edge on the back, shown in the detail photo; it is not viewable from the front. Each side of the pin measures 1 ½ inches long.

An amazing modernist sterling silver ring with an central agate cabochon by Jens Peter Clausen Guðjónsson of Iceland. Signed JENS 925S. Measures about a size 7- 7.5. The top sits 1" high and measures about 3/4" across. Has an interesting texture on the sides. Heavy sterling. Really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.

Set with nine square, faceted faux garnets mounted in closed-back settings. The pin features an openwork silver frame nicely detailed with molded flowers and beads. The silver retains a light layer of gilding; the glass pieces are in lovely condition with points substantially intact. On the reverse are some indentations that may be obscured marks and signs of a removed watch hook. The C-clasp is quite sturdy and secure. The brooch measures 1 ½ inches across. The dating is conservative.
