This is a gorgeous pendant from Finland is by Kupittaan Kulta Oy. It measures 2" x 5/8". It is marked 925S with the Kupittaan Kulta, anvil hallmark. It is in excellent condition.

One of the techniques the Los Castillo workshop pioneered, “pluma Azteca” uses dyed bird feathers as inlay to adorn jewelry and other decorative items. Quite impressive in their colorful vibrancy, the feathers can also be vulnerable, especially when they are left exposed, resulting in a rather small number of “pluma” jewelry having survived over the years. This sweet little lavalier is centered by a blue sapphire cabochon within an Art Nouveau framework of 14kt yellow gold. Above is a pearl. It was made by the well known Whiteside & Blank company of Newark, NJ, and stamped “14”. When we found it, it was a ring that had been made from a stickpin, so we felt free to remake it into a lavalier (it didn’t work very well as a ring). It measures just under 1 inch from the top of the bail by 1/2” at the widest point. Circa 1900...

An extremely fine Victorian tiger claw bracelet mounted in 20K gold filigree. Tiger claws were popular souvenirs of visits to India, especially after Queen Victoria took the title “Empress of India” in 1876. They were sometimes set into jewelry in England or America, but also in India. This bracelet is mounted in the traditional Indian style of ornate filigree work. The claws are finely matched in terms of color and size and are in excellent condition...

Very simple yet elegant is this beveled oval lapis broach set in 14Kt yellow gold. The lapis is 1 ¼” or 31 millimeter long and ¾” or 19 millimeter wide. The overall measurements of the broach are 1 3/8” or 35 millimeters by 15/16” or 23 millimeters.

Late Art Deco to early retro and not easily found by this jewelry maker? This geometric bracelet is signed: ROLLED GOLD, KJ on feather for Kollmar & Jourdan, Made in Germany. This firm was established in 1885 in Pforzheim Germany and according to research destroyed during WWII, rebuilt and out of biz in 1977.

Signed by Victoria who is often credited in the relevant literature with having perfected the "mixed metals" technique this big, bold combination pin / pendant brings together sterling silver, copper and brass in an Aztec Revival design. I am fascinated by the seamless marrying of the metals in "casados" pieces and Ana Nunez de Brilanti excelled in their design and crafting. Here, the round "shield" element is slightly concave and catches the light in ever-changing, fascinating ways...

Very nice pair of early toggle-back 14K yellow gold cufflinks, each set with an old European cut diamond. The edges of the faces have a foliate design surrounded a textured center featuring a ribbed collet-set diamond. The stones are very nice quality with excellent clarity and bright color. The beauty of the pin speaks for itself. The well-crafted bird is perched on a branch with leaves. It has a red stone eye, and is adorned with rhinestones and turquoise stones. It measures 2 1/3" x 1 1/8". The back is marked BOUCHER and numbered 8502P. It is in excellent condition.
