A fine modernist pendant designed as an 18K yellow gold frame enclosing a square plaque of smoky quartz with beveled edges. The front side of the gold frame has two geometric insets, a large square that occupies a fourth of the surface and a small quarter-circle at the opposite corner. This asymmetrical use of complimentary symmetrical shapes is reminiscent of the Mondrian paintings that inspired Yves Saint-Laurent’s 1965/66 couture collection...

A lovely Art Nouveau locket worked in 14K yellow gold depicting a poppy blossom and buds. In the Victorian language of flowers, the red poppy represented "consolation," certainly an apt choice for a locket that might hold a portrait. The interior of the locket retains both of the original frames and glass covers. The jump ring is marked "10K", but the locket is tested and guaranteed as 14K.

Extremely fine Victorian memorial ring in 18K yellow gold, the shoulders with glossy black taille d’epargne enamel and engraved foliate decoration. A shield-shaped black and white sardonyx cartouche crowns the ring and covers a hair compartment visible through the beveled rock crystal cover on the inside of the ring. The inside of the shank is engraved “Thomas Bland 1857 Obt 23 March 68 years” and the compartment holds a woven plaque of his gray hair...

A lightly hammered pewter brooch with a central rose colored round Ruskin pottery jewel. Marked Hand Wrought Plantagenet, REGSIN, Pending on the back. Plantagenet hand wrought jewelry was retailed through Liberty & Co. of London in the early 1900s.

Measures 1 3/8" in diameter. Has a 'C' clasp that holds securely. There is a small piece of wire wrapped around the hinge.

A very interesting pair of 18K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks by Tiffany & Co. The cufflinks were made in France and were available only in Tiffany’s Paris boutique. Each face is formed as a square knot instead of the more traditional knots often seen in cufflinks. The solid connectors are marked with French 18K hallmarks and also “Tiffany & Co.”

A very handsome pair of Victorian 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces fashioned as greyhounds' heads shown in profile. Each dog's head is nicely detailed with fur and a leather collar. The faces are connected to torpedo backs with chains. One cufflink is signed "A. Pospisil". Tested and guaranteed at least 18K, and more likely in the 19-20K range.

Arts & crafts handmade period silver and moonstones dagger pin, c.1910. Quite LARGE and made of very heavy gauge silver, it measures 4" LONG and the dagger can be removed from the sheath. Signed and numbered, this bold, modernist, suite is c. 1960’s. It is by the Danish designer Jorgen Jensen: best known for his work with pewter. The radiant, matching disks are concave and convex with a textured, sunburst design. Vintage bird parrot avian Mexican sterling silver collectors, look at this engraved feather parrot perched in circle pin brooch marked: Hecho en Mexico 0925 around "JV" a listed silversmith. 'He' is has a 8X13mm green jade/onyx stone belly w an engraved feather riveted through that! Handsome and in perfect shape of 1 X 1 3/8" in size as seen in one book or another.

A modernist sterling silver brooch with a black orb by Sigi Pineda. The orb may be onyx.

Measures 2 7/8" long and almost 1/2" at the widest. Marked on the back Sigi Tasco, Hecho en Mexico, Sterling, 81, and Eagle #3. Also marked with what looks like design number 304.

Safety rollover clasp holds securely. In very nice condition. Has a little tarnish and minor surface scratches.
