Rare modernist earrings by Irvin and Bonnie Burkee, a husband and wife team who created unique jewelry in their studio from the late 1940s until the 1970s. The minimalist aesthetic sterling silver earrings are circa 1950s, and feature discs each decorated by a single silver sphere. The earrings are screw-backs, and the tops measure .75" in diameter. Signed "Sterling, Burkee." Excellent vintage condition.

A substantial and heavily oxidized sterling bracelet by Jose Luis Flores. An apprentice of Spratling, Flores also worked in the ateliers of Hector Aguiar,Miguel Martinez and Emma Melendez. Signed Miguel in script, Taxco,Sterling JLF along with a slightly obliterated number. There are faint scratches. The bracelet measures 7-1/4 x 1-3/8 and weighs 80.7gr.

A 10k twin black Alaskan diamonds and white sapphires ring from the 1950s. This size 5 ring features a pair of faceted oval Alaskan diamond (pyrite) claw-set stones and four white sapphires in a 9/16" across and 1/2" wide setting. It is stamped 10K and this attractive ring weighs 2.5 grams. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a bit of wear to the sapphires...

Framed square sterling pin with center square moss agate stone by modernist Frances Holmes Boothby, c.1950's. It measures 1 3/8" square and is signed "STERLING fhb". Beautiful stone and in excellent condition.....$15 USA for insured shipping & applicable NY tax.

These handmade, two-sided cufflinks each feature a square piece with an incised geometrical design connected by a figure-8 to a dome-shaped piece. The links are very securely soldered to each side; there is a tiny ‘ding’ to one dome. The squares measure about 5/8 inch and are marked Sterling and Taxco. Weight: 8.1 grams total

This is a super Ciner brooch featuring a full figure jeweled camel. There red (maroon) enamel decoration is rimmed with rhinestones dotted scalloped borders. There are three movable tassels dangling from the edge. His hump is a large carnelian. On top of his head there is a crown with a glass carnelian.

This pin is 2 1/2" x 2 3/4" . It is highly dimensional at 3/4" thick.

This signed Matilde Poulat necklace lays beautifully and is a statement maker at 1.5in. tall and 17in. wearable length. This is a pre-1960 signage with patent, registration, Matl and Mexico no eagle. The quality workmanship is further demonstrated with a weight of 131 grams. Matl lovers should include this in their collection, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

I have some new information about and pictures of this rare, Coro. I will add all as soon as possible. This 2-piece set is beautiful. The necklace / choker measures 16 1/2" long. It has an adjustable hook closure (marked Coro in script). Each of the 7 colorful cabochons are set in decorative, heavy gold tone, with a clear rhinestone accent. Beautiful 5.2 carat Rubellite Tourmaline set in platinum with six diamonds. Simple and elegant, the ring is approximately a size 7. The diamonds on the sides are well cut and matched and weigh approximately 0.10 cttw. It is stamped on the inside "10% IRID PLAT". The overall weight is 4 grams.

A 14k white gold signet ring probably from the 1950s. This (slightly over) size 8-1/2 ring has an AL script monogram and it weighs 3.3 grams. It is unmarked and it may have been rehooped, losing the hallmark. It tests as 14k gold, the initial area is 3/8 x 1/4" and it is in excellent condition with dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a light patina from use.
