Beautiful vintage sterling earrings with tear drop shaped, bezel set, deep red coral. These have clip backs and hold secure on the ears. Lovely floral design with silver drops between the stones and twisted wire around the center stone. They measure 1" by 1" and weigh 13 grams total. A delightful Imperial Austrian silver brooch set with three reverse-carved Essex crystals by the Imperial jeweler Georg Adam Scheid. The domed pin is finely engraved in a basket-weave motif and is pierced by three Essex crystals, each depicting a lap dog, perhaps a Pekingese. The dogs are well carved and colored, with tiny blue bows under their chins. The crystals never had a mother-of-pearl backing like those produced in England and France...

Lushly designed floral sterling and amethyst pin sold by Sanborn's and possibly made by Fred Davis who managed and designed for the store from 1947 through the early 50's, Mexico, c.1950. The story of this Mexican Deco silver and turquoise hinged bangle is an interesting one. When it came to me, it had a rather hastily applied gold plating that looked both out of place and, should I say?, garish. I cannot understand why anybody would do such a thing yet many a time, in discussions with older bench jewelers, I have been told that a few decades ago this was indeed a trend of sorts...

A very cool Gucci sterling adjustable bracelet circa 1970. It can basically fit any wrist from approximately 6" to 8" by simply pushing in or out on the bracelet knots. Weighing 47 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. What a fun piece !
