This dramatic disk pin features a hammered surface decorated with applied wire in a stylized floral design. A framed dome graces the center and four applied beads enhance the edges of the wire work design. It has a secure trombone clasp and brass pin stem, both original to the piece. Here is a classic pair of 10kt gold, two-sided cuff links with a black enamel rim from the 1920s to late 1930s. The enamel is totally intact; the gold shows a warm, aged patina. The bridge bars and rings are quite secure. The bars bear a mark of 10 with a K in between the digits, indicating the maker as Kohn & Company of Newark, NJ. Each button measures ½ inch in diameter. Originally, this was the largest of a set of 3 graduated matching silver necklaces. They were worn as a set for festival by the Miao Chinese Ethnic Minority women. The necklace was skillfully hand-formed from a sheet of silver into a curving tapered tube with a reposse pattern of 2 dragons chasing pearl. It spans 10.5 inches across.

This is a signed JVC for Emma 3 piece PARURE with eagle. This bracelet is published in the book Mexican Silver by Morril and Berk. The silver base of the design is a whopping 3mm thick. These oval cuff links display a well known Mexican relic character (see pictures). They are very well crafted with a copper eye and azurmalachite on obsidian. They measure 1" x 5/8" x 1/8". They are in fine condition. The toggles are marked ALPACA (but the faces are silver).

This impressive 2 3/4" sterling silver cuff studded with 30 amethyst cabs was hallmarked c. 1940 by Manuel Altamirano, senior silversmith in Hector Aguilar's Taller Borda. Interior length measures 5 1/2" end to end. The gap opening is 1 1/2". Terminals measure 2 3/4" wide, center front is 2 1/2" wide. Weight 79 grams. The bracelet is in beautiful condition. This graceful sterling silver ring is formed as a stylized snake with an impressed band starting at the head and tapering to the tail. The impressed area is nicely oxidized and decorated with contrasting circular elements, one of which serves as the snake's eye. The patina is soft and is nicely enhanced by the oxidation. Made of gilded sterling silver, this lovely pin features intricately applied bands to imitate wirework in a scroll design. The pin is set with a pink coral-colored glass cabochon that exhibits minor wear at the very top. It has a very secure C-clasp and is marked sterling on the back. It is conservatively dated to around 1960 (could be earlier), and is possibly Asian. It measures 1 1/8 inches across.

The handmade pendant is probably German, mid-20th century. It features a cross-hatched, oxidized surface set with two vividly-colored coral half-beads. Here is an impressive, hand-constructed pendant of wound thick wire around a square piece of polished spectrolite. The stone has a lovely iridescence, and internal yellowish bands. The pendant is permanently attached to a thick chain that has no clasp; both the chain and pendant are silverplated; the pendant bears the impressed mark of Walter Arnesen, Copenhagen (1968-1973). The entire necklace, including pendant and chain, drops 15 inches.

Formed as a stylized, textured ribbon, bisected by a flattened band. The pin has a dynamic feel and is quite sturdy. The rollover clasp is original to the piece and in good working order. The necklace has a nice heft, but it quite comfortable. The back bears the circular impressed Mexican silver mark with central maker’s initials of possibly OBC, and the eagle 1 mark. The necklace measures 19 inches long unclasped; the pendant drops 4 ¼ inches. Weight: 56.1 grams

The clean design of this silver pin features two adjoining concave oval disks with applied silver beads in the center, all mounted on a forged wire frame. A stunning pair of vintage 18K yellow gold and platinum earclips set with diamonds by Cartier. The clips are worked in heavily textured gold that resembles a flame motif that ascends the earlobe when being worn. Very good antique condition

This delicate, charming silver gilt bar pin features lavender guilloche enamel work surrounded by a thin border of black enamel and a milligrain-like textured edge. Three circles of white enamel grace each end of the pin. The pin bears the mark of Marius Hammer, Bergen, Norway (1847-1927), and dates to the early 20th century. The original C-clasp has been expertly replaced; the piece retains its original pin stem. It measures 1 5/8 inches long by a little over ¼ inch wide at the center.

An ornate piece of cast work featuring flowers, scrolls, garlands and scallop shells. The pin is set with a central faceted rectangular citrine, tiny pieces of orange glass and seed pearls. The C-clasp is secure; the pin stem is struck with a special Hungarian mark used from 1937-1999 indicating a piece that may have left the country temporarily, as for an exhibition. The brooch measures 1 ½ inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide.

A hinged bangle of irregular, wavy design, solidly cast, by prominent Taxco designer Erika Hult de Corral. The spring mechanism is in good working order, keeping the bracelet securely in place. The bracelet has a 6 ¾-inch inner circumference, and is quite comfortable to wear. It bears the maker’s ‘Ric’ mark, as well as the Mexican eagle mark for sterling. Gross weight: 53.5 grams
