A half-moon piece of agate in a molded sterling silver frame has colorations that give the impression of a mountain scene. It is strung between two chains with ribbed diamond-shaped elements. The back bears the mark of Great Falls Metal Works, a New Jersey firm that started in 1968. The necklace, from the 1970s or 1980s, measures about 19 ½ inches long; the pendant drops 1 3/8 inches.

This unusual bangle is very comfortable to wear — the shape of this sturdy bangle makes it easy to slide over the knuckles. These beautiful, sterling silver earrings have a classic Mexican, 1940's design. They are screwbacks, and measure 1" x 1" x 1". The central stones are bezel-set: green chalcedony / jade. Each earring's back is marked HECHO EN MEXICO D.F. 925, with a maker's mark of JP inside a rectangle. The D.F. stands for Distrito Federal: made in Mexico City.

Bracelet has full set of marks, indicating a registration city of Arrezzo, Italy, and .800 silver content. This pair of delicate earrings has lovely amber circular tops and teardrop pendants. The stones are highly polished and exhibit an inner world of mineral and plant particles, especially when the drops are exposed to light. They measure about 1 ¾ inches from top to bottom; the widest area measures ½ inch. They bear their original clip backs that are marked only MET, indicating a non-precious white metal. They are probably European.

This ring features spore-like protrusions and was made most likely in the 1960s or 1970s. It is a very small size, a 3 ¾, and shows minimal signs of having been re-sized, including what looks like a partial mark for silver (it tests for sterling). There is also a hand-engraved maker’s mark of BARZ. The top measures about 5/8 inch wide by ¼ inch high. Weight: 6.4 grams

Ca 1960 There was an original tag now lost that read "Hand Crafted Austrian Brilliants"--this lot includes heavy clip-on pendant earrings that hang 1-1/2" and a brooch that measures 2" round. Two marquise stones (one on an earring, the other on the pin)have been reset but are difficult to identify.

This is a Rafael Dominguez turquoise bracelet made before 1948 and properly hallmarked as shown. The weight is 58 grams heavy and is 1.25in. wide. It is 7in. long. The silver is thick and Dominguez is know for his high quality workmanship. Dominguez is a noted maestro in Penny Morril's books. When you own a Dominguez piece you know you bought the best! The stones are beautiful and have no chips or cracks. The piece looks fantastic with the turquoise drippy necklace also listed on my site.

A superb and evocative 1-5/8 x 1-3/8" mid-Victorian mourning pin in 14k yellow gold (unmarked but tested). This pin features a carved pink coral hand with black enamel bands on its sleeve, holding a wreath of flowers and leaves. There are seed pearls in the flower centers and there is a claw-set pearl in the center. It has a reeded edge and a c-clasp which has been added a bit later for wear as a brooch; originally it would have been a pendant and a small loop remains at the top...

This pair of nicely molded cuff links feature bold ray-like ridges on the oval sides and vertical ridges on the narrow sides, all enhanced with dark oxidation. They are European made, and marked for .835 silver; the country mark is hard to distinguish and the maker’s mark looks like a TK or KT. The chain ends in a 3-inch drop composed of alternating metal balls and elongated links with a working swivel clasp. It dates to the late 19th-early 20th century, with a darkened finish from the process of electroplating a layer of iron on the base metal.The chain measures about 30 ¾ inches long, doubled, including the drop at the end.

An Art Deco 14k white gold amethyst ring from about 1920. This size 5 oval solitaire ring measures 5/8" x 1/2" across the top and it weighs 4.2 grams. It is stamped 14 K with an arrow maker's mark. Amazing pendant / brooch by Michigan silversmith John Pagacz, circa 1950s. In sterling silver with three cultured pearls. The two darkened areas in the center are recessed, oxidized to create the patina, and hand detailed with a pattern. The workmanship in Pagacz's work is truly amazing. Unsigned. Has both a loop for a chain, and a pin mechanism so that the piece can be worn as a brooch. Measures a large 2.25" x 1.5. Excellent vintage conditon.

Our photos don't do justice to these bronze and sterling silver artisan-crafted earrings. The curved bronze crescent shapes are bisected by undulating sterling silver forms. Each earrings is completely hand crafted, with the exception of the sterling screw back mechanisms. Circa 1960s. From the posts to the bottoms, the earrings hang approximately 3". Marked "sterling" on the screw-backs.

A nice pair of vintage 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces designed as a pair of discs joined by a diamond-shaped reserve. Each of the discs is engraved in a starburst motif, while the reserves feature oval star sapphire cabochons. The sapphires have good translucency and even, grayish-blue coloring. The stars are very distinct, bright and well-centered. The backs are marked "14K".
