A Georgian 15K gold gentleman's ring set with a hematite intaglio with a rare image from Greek/Roman mythology. We see the buff god Apollo in his horse-drawn chariot being led by Eros ("Cupid"), the god of love. This scene depicts the beginning of the tale of the water nymph Daphne.

Best know as god of the sun, Apollo was also the patron god of archers. One day, he mocked Cupid for the small size of the latter's bow and arrows...

This whimsical pea pod pin is handcrafted and decorated with a curling vine, the peas made of graduated malachite beads strung on a wire. The rollover clasp is secure, and the pin is well balanced when worn. It measures 2 ½ inches long by ¾ inches wide. It is conservatively dated at 1960s, and could be older. The pin is marked sterling.

This Trifari Alfred Philippe sterling jelly belly fly brooch is vermeil with rhinestones and lucite jelly belly. It is hallmarked Sterling(The only thing that I can read). It is in super condition. It measures 1 5/8" x 1 3/4". Circa 1945 designed by Alfred Philippe.

Lucite jelly bellies were copied from figurals originally done in gold and rock crystal.

A 14k white sapphire solitaire engagement ring from the 1950s-1960s. For those who didn't like or couldn't afford diamonds, this white sapphire has lots of sparkle. The stone is 60 points in size (calculated) and it sits high on it's white gold angled claws. An organic mid century modern ring by the American studio jeweler, Paul Miller. This ring, executed in sterling silver with an Opal cabochon, is currently a size 8 1/2 and can be adjusted up or down because of the open back. Marked Paul Miller, Sterling on the inside. Opal measures 5/8" long and 3/8" across. Has a little tarnish and a few minor surface scratches. Very fine example of his work.

This charming 14 k gold pin is an homage to a moment in American history. The Daughters of Liberty was formed ~1766, shortly after the Sons of Liberty. This group of brave women boycotted British products and made use of traditional women's skills such as weaving and spinning, to support the cause of liberty. The pin bears an enameled flag, initials, the number five, and the date 1860. It is 1 X 1/1/2" in size.

This Mexican brooch is pre-Columbian in design. The onyx face is decorated with a silver headdress, earrings, and neck ornamentation with “feather” pendants. The bezel-set stone face is onyx.

A nice pair of Victorian 18K yellow gold earrings, open circles enclosing ball drops star-set with emerald-cut tourmalines. The circles are finished with a pierced and beaded border along the inside edges and a delicate ropetwist motif along the outside. One tourmaline is pale green and the other is bi-colored—mostly green but with some pinkish-red areas. The earrings have a lot of movement when being worn. Tested and guaranteed 18K.

A 14k gold blue sapphire and diamonds ring from the 1970s-1980s...

Early Mexico City open backed repousse cuff looks so fabulous without being embossed around the background of the roses because it makes the repousse really pop. This is a 1 10/16th in. wide and the diameter is 2.5in. There are no repairs, no dents and no light holes that come from poorly pressed silver. The roses are brisk and superbly dimensional. An excellent example and fabulous on.

It is always exciting to find an Antonio Pineda shadow box archers cuff, particularly an early piece with the "ZZ" hallmark. It measures 2 3/8" wide and 5 1/4" around in the inside with a 1 1/8" opening.It weighs 133 grams. All original, fine condition, no damage or repairs. Hallmarked as shown. One of his classic designs.
