A fascinating Victorian brooch set in 14K yellow gold. The octagonal plaque with canted corners appears to be made of opaque black glass and is inset with an ornate glass design worked in the pietra dura method. The translucent design is backed with gold foil to create a subtle glittery effect. The setting is very simple and does not detract from the more important enamel work. This pair of Victorian hair pin is beaded all over front and back. They are 4 1/2" long by 2" in width. They are in super condition.

A early to mid 19th century period 12k yellow gold watch fob pendant with a shield shaped genuine rock crystal stone. This 7/8" tall fob measures 1/2" x 3/8" across, and it has a genuine bevelled shield shape natural rock crystal stone held with a bezel. The stones has foiling on the back, still visible but dulled and slightly loose with age. It is unmarked but tests as 12k, and it weighs 1.9 grams (the British Empire had 12K as part of their gold standard until 1932)...

A nice, early pair of cuff links from Newark, NJ, maker Krementz and Co. The 14kt gold oblong buttons have a recessed floral design, embedded with white, blue and yellow vitreous enamel. There is very minor wear to the enamel, visible only through magnification. The bridge bars are secure and exhibit no stress or wear; they bear the Krementz mark of 14 K. with an impressed collar button...

A late Victorian size 9 ring with garnets and diamonds c1890-1900. This ring features three garnets with 4 mine cut natural diamonds between them; this ring measures 11/16 x 5/16" across the top. It is stamped 14K with an unidentified maker's mark and the gold tends towards a rose gold colour. It weighs 3.0 grams, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor wear to the garnets...

Sterling over 18K diamond floral spray brooch from the mid-19th C. This lovely three dimensional brooch has a prong set Old Mine Cut center stone and numerous rose cut diamonds of varying sizes throughout. Brooch measures 2 3/8" long and 3/4" wide (at widest). The back of the brooch is yellow gold with a trombone clasp. There appears to be a very small repair spot on the back of the brooch (just found on close inspection), otherwise excellent condition...

An 18k Victorian 5 pearls row engagement ring from the 1880s 1890. This antique size 5 ring features a row of five genuine pearls which in Victorian times meant fidelity, love, loyalty and purity. These were the wedding fashion before the diamond engagement ring came into vogue and this example tests as a minimum of 18 k gold (the marks are obscured and it may be as high as 22 carat). It measures 3/4" along the pearls setting and it weighs 4.5 grams...

Incredible yellow gold remembrance brooch of a bouquet of flowers with 2 hearts. Created with 3 different colored hair, the bottom of the bouquet is wrapped with dark brown hair which, due to reflection problems, I was not able to photograph. In excellent condition, no scratches to glass, the brooch is engraved on the back "Anne M Chenault" "1843". The brooch is much more beautiful and intricate than picture. A fine pair of mid-19th century 14K yellow gold double-faced cufflinks set with banded agate and gold-bearing quartz. A handsome gentleman’s ring, the front in the form of a horseshoe encircling an onyx cameo carved to depict a steeplechase scene of a jockey and horse leaping over a fence. Interestingly, the carver chose not to polish the black onyx background, perhaps to lend a more masculine feel to the design. The shank is finished in a reeded pattern. Tested and guaranteed 18K.

An impressive 18K yellow gold hinged bangle, the front set with a cabochon emerald surrounded by old mine cut and rose cut diamonds arranged in a floral motif.
