Great modernist designed mixed metals ring in silver and brass, possibly by ANTONIO PINEDA. It is signed "TONO 925" and is in excellent condition. Impressive in size this vintage Janna Thomas Mexican silver pendant is an example of the "pluma Azteca" technique which incorporates vividly colored bird feathers in sterling jewelry. Very reminiscent of plique-a-jour work, "pluma Azteca" was introduced by the Los Castillo workshop and it is a demanding, difficult process so it was emulated by just a handful of other Taxco maestros. Thomas excelled in it, however, and her pieces are sought after by knowledgeable collectors...

Silver lipstick cases / holders from Italy are not a rare occurrence yet how often do you come upon a signed Peruzzi example? As difficult to find as it is beautiful, this one has it all - the signature, the warm patina, the delicate floral etched decoration and tiny little sparkling red rhinestones at the center of each dainty flower. Even the tab that holds the pop-up mirror is shaped like a multi-petaled bloom. A collector's dream-come-true the case measures 2/3" wide and deep by 2 3/8" tall...

A beauty from the past is this Art Nouveau 14Kt yellow gold bar pin. The pin is decorated by 3 multi colored enameled leaves and 4 2.5 mm oriental seed pearls. The length of the pin is 33 millimeters and the width is 6 millimeters.

This 14K brushed gold trifari necklace sometimes carries the crown mark and sometimes it does not. I have seen it both ways.

It is well constructed to lay perfectly on the neck. It is approximately 12" without the 2" extensions.

These 1960s Scandinavian earrings have distinctive, lacy frames, each set with a cabochon carnelian in a bezel mounting. The clip backs are marked S925 and are original; the earrings are probably Danish. The earrings measure ½ inch wide.

The shape of this antique pendant is a Dharmachakra or "wheel with 8 spokes", which is one of the eight auspicious symbols of Tibetan Buddhism. Eight oval shaped turquoise surround a ninth turquoise stone, with each stone set in a silver bezel on a silver backing. When mined, turquoise is a soft stone, and all old stones were set into a bezel for protection. Later stablization processes were used so that bezels were no longer required...

This charming 14 k gold pin is an homage to a moment in American history. The Daughters of Liberty was formed ~1766, shortly after the Sons of Liberty. This group of brave women boycotted British products and made use of traditional women's skills such as weaving and spinning, to support the cause of liberty. The pin bears an enameled flag, initials, the number five, and the date 1860. It is 1 X 1/1/2" in size.

This is very hard stone white jade carving of Dragon Fish and fish, it is heavy and big piece and detail in carving of the dragon head.

Signed by Hector Aguilar this "Mask" parure is known to be designed by Valentin Vidauretta. When you look at two links side by side they form a mask. The link is 6/8th's inch tall with the parure weighing 91 grams. The silver is thick and speaks volumes with it's sleek presence. The bracelet is 7in. long, necklace is 16.25 in. long and the earrings are 1.25in. long. No damage or flaws and this is collector, museum quality. Exceptionally scarce, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

Early SAM KRAMER modernist sterling ring with rutilated quartz cabochon, c.1948. Top is raised in best Kramer style with 4 tubes of silver and stone is set in darkened silver inset background(photo #1 is lighter than actual background).
