A handsome pair of reversible heavy 18K yellow gold flip-up cufflinks. One side of each end is finished smooth, while the reverse side is engraved in a zigzag pattern. The flip-up style was popularized by Cartier in the 1930s and continued to be popular in France through the mid-century. Danish Modern 14k gold ring by Jens Asby, Denmark, 1960s. The looped design of the setting perfectly highlights the glowing reticulated quartz sphere.
