Rare color of green tourmaline set in platinum and surrounded by diamonds. Circa 1930 and in great condition, this beautiful ring is set with a substantial 3.75 ct tourmaline. There are approximately .10 cttw of single cut diamonds surrounding it. The face of the ring measures approximately 15.5 mm long and 11.5 mm wide. The ring is a size 7.5. A beautiful pair of 18K yellow gold and diamond earrings by Gucci. The earrings are designed in a sort of “knitted” ropetwist pattern, the tops sprinkled with round single cut diamonds. A nice vintage tie bar in a bamboo pattern by Tiffany & Co. The bar is worked in 14K yellow gold, and each end features a blue sapphire cabochon collet set in platinum. A gorgeous Art Deco platinum mounting sprinkled with diamonds and featuring a pair of round brilliant cut aquamarines. The crown of the ring rises well up off the finger, creating a sort of umbrella effect that nestles the aquamarines. The diamonds larger diamonds in the setting are old European cuts and the smaller ones are single cuts. All are in the H/I color range with VS clarity. The mounting is finished with expert milgraining and ornate piercing.

A set of three classic 14K yellow gold and mother of pearl shirt studs by Larter. The mother of pearl has particularly nice iridescent coloring. The simple design allows them to be worn with a variety of cufflinks, as well. Each stud is marked 14K and has the Larter hallmark.

Piedra y Plata opened in 1950 and soon gained a reputation as one of the best silver shops in Taxco.
