This elegant depiction of a Wiener Dog is c. late 1940’s. The sterling silver vermeil and marcasites compliment the beautiful ropetwist, open wirework of the body. The ear is set with marcasites, as is the eye. The back is marked “ALICE CAVINESS” and “STERLING GERMANY” on applied plaques. The pin measures 2” (from snout to tail) x 1/2". This wonderful piece is in excellent condition.

Very glam vintage Egyptian revival bib necklace by the artist Ruth Buol. Circa 1965. Goldtone metal drops with huge faceted glass stones in aqua an iridescent aurora borealis colors are suspended from a goldtone chain. The backs of the drops are enameled in pale blue to match the aqua stones. With paper stickers marked BUOL and EGYPT I and with the original price of $110. A fabulous statement piece.

Stunning vintage 1920s cherry amber Bakelite necklace with round translucent beads hand knotted with silk thread, in a continuous strand with no clasp. Tests positive for Bakelite with Simichrome. 146 grams. The beads are all 12 millimeters. 63 inches long and 1/2 inch wide. Very cute vintage layered plastic pin in white and navy blue in the form of a sailboat, with red painted detail. This is a French piece; several similar figural sailor pins are pictured in the 2003 edition of "Plastic Jewelry" by Lilian Baker, with updates by Ginger Moro and Karima Parry. This piece is 1960s or 1970s. From a Baltimore estate. I also have the matching sailor pin, from the same estate, listed.
