Dramatic large hand made sterling Mayan face/headdress pin by LOS CASTILLO, Mexico, 1942. Measures 3 1/4" by 2 1/4" and signed "LOS CASTILLO TAXCO STERLING MADE IN MEXICO 530". This pin has a barette-type of closure. However, the points are very sharp so is not a barette but rather an alternate type of pin closure. Vintage pair of sterling silver screwback earrings set with 5mm and 6mm Mikimoto pearls. This is the classic style produced by Mikimoto in the mid-20th century—beautiful pearls set in the simplest possible way so that the pearls take center stage. The pearl quality is very nice—estimated at A+. They have an ivory body color with rose overtones and the luster is bright. The backs are marked with Mikimoto’s hallmark.

This is "The Armadillo" cuff. (The necklace is no longer available). It was designed circa 1945-50 by Valentin Vidaurreta and made by master silversmith Manuel Altamirano who worked for Valentin and also for Hector Aguilar. It is featured on page 198 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by Penny C. Morrill. The cuff is 5 1/2" around in the inside plus a 1 1/2" opening. It is 1 5/8" wide in the front and in fine all original condition with no damage or repairs...

Bold and striking long sterling earrings designed by Karl Gustav Hansen for Hans Hansen of Denmark. These earrings are from the "Future" line of jewelry manufactured by Hans Hansen between 1932 and 1948. They hang 3" long, are 1/2" wide at the bottoms and are screw backs. Weighing 15 grams total, they are in fine original condition. A fabulous Modernist design.
This sterling Hobe bow pin has six (6)
8 mm stones and 5 hand applied ornamental buds around the three 8 mm stones on each side. The 8mm stones are purple, yellow, and blue. This Hobe pin is in excellent condition.
Plateria Cecilia has produced a very nice rendition of Mexico City folk work. The stones are warmed teal turquoise, dark red coral which looks Mediteranian and an amethyst that is jelly clear purple. The center Medallion is 2 inches tall and the bracelet is 1.25in. tall. There is 7.25in. of length and also 60 grams of silver.
All of the 36 wonderfully matched square cut diamonds are channel set in an 18Kt white gold 2 millimeter wide eternity band. The size of the band is 5 ¾ and the approximate total weight of all the diamonds is 0.75Ct.
This amazing bracelet by Hector Aguilar is quite unique in that is made in Sterling Silver Vermeil. Known as the "Linked Circles Bracelet" and featured in the book Silver Masters of Mexico on page 63.It measures 7 1/2" long by 1" wide and weighs 77.9 grams. Hallmarked "Sterling Silver, HA, Made in Mexico". It has a secure box clasp and is in good condition with only light signs of wear. A very beautiful bracelet and a rare find for the collector.
