One of the best and largest silver pins by Hector Aguilar, Mexico, c.1948. Beautiful repouseed floral pin showing play between oyxidized deep lines and shiny surface silver. Very large, it measures 3 1/2" long by 3 1/4" wide. Signature is unusual showing eagle mark(not usual bellmark), one of the earliest dies ordered from Germany - "eagle mark 940 HA TAXCO". We are offering a lovely Martinez parure of necklace, bracelet and earrings. The stones are poured glass and all are clean with no dark mottle. There is glare and a reflection of the camera in some of the stones. This color of blue is one of the nicest sky blue that I have seen. The entire grouping is damage free and is signed on the bracelet only.It is not unusual in the making of a parure that only one piece is signed. The links are hand chased and with beaded repousse that is hand applied...

Early hand made eye/eyelash sterling and matrix turquoise earrings by famous modernist Sam Kramer, NYC, c.1955. Each matrix turquoise comes from a different mine - one is greenish turquoise with black material (right) and the other is blue turquoise with brown(left) material. Obviously hand made, with each earring charmingly differently shaped than the other. They each measure approx. 1 1/8" long by 3/4"-1" wide. Each is signed STERLING mushroom mark(for Kramer) and are in excellent condition...

Modernist enamel fish by Madeline Turner, c.1940's, who studied enameling with Karl Drerup. She also designed for Tiffany and Georg Jensen,USA. This great domed sail fish measures 3 1/16" by 1 1/8" and is in perfect condition. The rich colors are various shades of blue, yellow, green and white. Unsigned, this was purchased from a close family friend. Ms. Turner never mounted these pieces, but can easily be put into a metal frame and worn as a pin...

Being offered is a rare circa 1942 sterling silver and cabachon amethyst bracelet by Fred Davis of Taxco, Mexico. Early piece by one of the pioneers of the premiere Taxco Silver ateliers. Handwrought links with bezel set amethyst cabochons & alternating domed silver motifs. Tongue & box clasp. Dimensions: size 7 1/2 inches, links are 1 1/4 inches wide. Marked as illustrated. Simple and elegant, this 14k yellow gold ring is adorned with two Old Mine Cut diamonds. The larger of the two measures approximately .30 ct and grades approximately G color and VS2 on the GIA grading scale. The smaller of the two diamonds measures approximately .20 ct and is well matched to the other at G color and SI1 clarity. The bezel settings around the diamonds are white gold. It is in excellent condition and is currently a size 7.75. The diamonds are bright and sparkle very well...

Deeply carved so as to represent folds in a fancy bow tie the green agate in this big Mexican Deco brooch has beautiful color variation and is pleasantly "soft" to the touch. The substantial stone is generously backed in silver and held in place with sturdy, hand-wrought prongs. Classically Deco, I also find it rather tongue-in-cheek, an elegant "mockery" of the stiffness of "proper attire". The brooch measures 3" wide by 1 1/2" tall and weighs 33.6 grams...
