A very attractive pair of double-sided cufflinks fashioned as oval mother-of-pearl discs centered with small seed pearls and enclosed in an opaque white enamel border, all set in yellow gold. White cufflinks such as these would originally have been worn only with white tie, but today they are particularly elegant with shirts in darker colored fabrics. The connectors are marked “14K” and have the maker’s mark for Larter & Sons.

These Coro cockatoos have been hand painted with enamel. At the center of each flower is a faceted, faux diamond. As you can see by the patent below, this duette was designed by Gene Verrechio and patented in 1941. Pat # for the duette is Des. 126,490 and for the clip #1798867. Coro invented the "Duette" in the 1930s. An ingenious invention. A pair of pierced Mid Century Modern vintage sterling silver earrings with satin finish and contrasting oxidized areas. Opposites so frame the face when worn.

The earrings measure 3/4" at the widest and 1 3/4" tall including the hooks. Marked sterling multiple times on the back of each one.

A beautiful dress set comprising two double-sided cufflinks and three shirt studs, the round faces set with abalone disks encircled by platinum borders. A lovely double-sided 18K yellow gold and crystal “porte-photo” (photo locket), the gold rim accented with small blue sapphires. The bail is attached to a screw mechanism that allows the gold frame to expand for access to the inside of the locket. Porte-photos were often used to display a “public” photo one side and a more private keepsake on the other. They’re usually very simple; a design of this type is uncommon. The dramatic focus of this 1970s necklace is a pendant of applied molten sterling silver on a trapezoidal frame. It is set with small jade and onyx cabochons, as well as one moonstone bead. It is suspended from a handmade sterling neckring with a hook and button clasp. The pendant and neckring are marked sterling; there is no maker’s mark. A Victorian 15k diamonds and pearl stickpin cravat pin from the 1880-90 era. This 2-5/8" pin measures 3/8" across; it weighs 1.6 grams and it has 3 mine or rose cut diamonds and a 3 mm. genuine pearl. You know you'll live a life of good luck when you're wearing this 14K gold upturned horseshoe pendant necklace. The horseshoe is adorned with blue enameled forget-me-nots, flowers that conveyed exactly that meaning in the Victorian language of flowers.
