Intricately constructed 980 sterling silver and amethyst pin or brooch designed and hallmarked (c.1930) by Taxco, Mexico artist William Spratling (1900-67). Pin measures 2 5/8" X 2 1/4". Oval amethyst cab surrounded by raised Aztec figures and applied silver beads. Excellent vintage condition. No chips, or cracks to the stone. No dents or dings to silver. A classic pair of very high quality 14K yellow gold double-faced cufflinks by Carrington. Each pair has one face centered with a round cut sapphire and another face with a old European cut diamond, both surrounded by a lightly engraved border. The quality of the stones is very good. The diamonds are graded at H color, VVS2 clarity and the sapphire are vivid violet-blue with eye clean clarity. The back of each face is marked with Carrrington's hallmark.

We believe this lovely (unmarked but tested) 10kt gold jewel is from a time when cannetille work was the vogue because gold was scarce: very fine gold wires twisted into thin strands and then formed into rosettes and other shapes. The amethyst is a delicate shade of purple, and weighs approximately 2.5 carats – it’s very deep. (Amethysts are said to bring calm, and help banish headaches.) The whole lavalier, including the bale, measures 1-1/2 x 9/16”...

Circa 1920 to Art Deco era 36" long silver tone chain and black glass necklace lavalier sautoir with a 3" pendant or drop of a "Lalique" like finely etched and ground floral berry amber glass drop.
Floral berry etched glass drop is 1 3/8" X 7/8" X 6mm thick with nice heft.

A fine pair of Edwardian 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces designed as pairs of coiled snakes. Two of the snakes have an old European cut diamond set into its head, while the other two have a round emerald. In Victorian symbology, the coiled snake represented eternity, and a pair of snakes coiled together suggested “eternal love.” The snaked as attached by chains to baton backs worked in a twisted motif, itself suggestive of the coiled snakes...

This elegant link bracelet has the look and feel of a much more expensive piece, but is made of silver gilt and set with faceted pieces of glass meant to imitate amandine garnets. The seven scrolled cast panels are highly detailed and are linked with connecting rings that are seamlessly fused closed. The spring ring is original to the bracelet and in good working order, and the attached end panel bears the mark 800 for silver content as well as what appear to be the maker’s initials of H.F.W...

This Alexander Korda brooch is based on the movie "Thief of Bagdad" produced by Alexander Korda in the 1940s. It depicts a turbaned fortune teller holding a lucite crystal ball. This figure is made up of a silver plated metal that forms the fortune teller who wears a turban and robe decorated with crescent moons, stars, and other unique shapes. This figure holds a large center crystal ball that is made up of an amber colored lucite and measures 24mm in diameter...

A very finely-made Victorian memorial ring worked in 18K yellow gold and plaited hair. The ring is designed as belt, ornately decorated with open navette- and trefoil-shaped reserves, each showing the loved one’s hair. The gold surfaces are nicely engraved, and the whole is finished off with an ornate buckle centered with a escutcheon engraved with the initials “MW”. A fine, hand wrought modernist sterling silver collar necklace and triangular bracelet by the California studio jeweler, Gerald Stinn, (1937-2019). Thick hammered sterling wires gently curved and flattened.

A handsome pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces fashioned as ornate batons. Each of batons has a lobed device at each end similar to the head on a 16/17th century Ottoman ceremonial mace used to connote that the bearer carried the full authority of the Sultan Khan. Beautiful Art Deco three-stone design in Platinum totaling 2.93 carats. The Old European Cut center diamond measures approximately 1.20 carats and grades on the GIA scale as L color and VS2 clarity.
