Fabulous group of very similarly carved tube shaped Bakelite bangles, two in slightly different greens, one in rust, and one in milk chocolate. Circa 1940. All test positive for Bakelite. Guaranteed vintage and original. All are from the same collection. They make a stunning statement worn together. All are standard 2 1/2 inches inside diameter, 3/8 inch wide and 3/8 inch thick. A vintage sterling silver ring by Andreas Mikkelsen, Denmark in a modernist folded design. Mikkelsen worked for Georg Jensen and designed modern pieces for them before striking out on his own. Streamlined curves, thick sterling, very Mid Century. Marked A.Mik., Denmark, and 925S. Measures size 7. Has a little tarnish. Very unique design.

A beautifully detailed carving of an unusual stone cameo depicting a man is set in a 14Kt pink gold frame. The early 20th century oval cameo pendant measures 35 X 27 millimeters without the jump ring and the bail.

An elegant Belle Epoque 18K yellow gold negligee pendant necklace, the old mine cut diamond drops formed as pansies. Fabulous vintage 1960s French necklace and matching clip earrings in wired poured glass with rhinestones and faux pearls, in pink and green, in 18th century style with a girandole drop. The earrings are marked DEPOSE. The glass beads are opaque and translucent. The rhinestones are openbacked. The earrings have French open clips. The metal on the necklace is dark silvertone as well as on the earrings, except for the earring post backs, which are dark goldtone...

A fine 18K yellow gold Victorian bracelet in the Etruscan Revival taste. The bracelet comprises ten 7-mm gold beads ornately decorated in twisted wire- and bead-work. Two 8.5-mm beads flank the clasp. The beads are joined by trace link chains, the larger beads being separated at a greater distance from the others. The placement of the hallmarks on the chain segments indicates this is the original design of the bracelet and that it has not been altered...

I love zodiac jewelry and thankfully so did the old Mexican maestros! Yet over the years I have noticed that no matter what their form (rings, brooches or bracelets), they are being snatched up with increasing fervor. So saying that they are becoming more difficult to find would not be an understatement, especially for rings which are an already challenging area of collecting in the vintage Mexican jewelry world...

Spratling designed this eye catching "entwined hands" buckle in the late 1940's. Measuring 5" X 2 1/4" & weighing 49 grams the piece is in beautiful condition. The back loops will accommodate up to a 1 inch strap. The buckle can also be worn as a pendant. Spratling also designed a similar "hands" necklace. Hallmarks are WS 925. A later version, (c.1965) of this buckle appears on p. 147 of WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE by Penny Morrill.

Circa 1910, old mine cut diamond ring. Set in 14k rose gold and platinum, this 1.68 ct diamond has an EGL certificate stating it is N color and SI1 clarity. For such an old stone, it is beautifully set and nicely sparkly. It is almost an oval shape, but looks larger than its weight. The ring has 10 additional old mine cuts that total an additional .25 ct. The ring is a size 6 and the overall weight is 3.6 grams. It is in excellent condition.

An unusual and elegant sterling bracelet with saw tooth bezel set carnelian by Frank Patania. Measuring 5 3/4" around in the inside plus an additional 1 1/2" opening, it is 1 3/8" wide and weighs 85 grams. Fine original condition and signed as shown. A bold mid-century design with great stones.

This 'Showgirl' with long wavy bejeweled gilded tresses fur clip has size and aesthetic appeal. It is a very satisfying motif to collect. She is3"x 1 3/4". She is made up of two separate parts in different finishes.In this case her face is platinum finish and her tresses are golden.

In "American Costume jewelry by Brunialti & Brunialti, v. 2 p.164. she is called "Female Head" from 1941. Vogu;e, October 1. 1941 called her "platinum head" .
