A rare modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet with a ruffled layer by the California jeweler and sculptor, Florence Resnikoff. She was the director of the Jewelry and Metal Arts Program at the California College of the Arts and a founding member of the Metal Arts Guild in San Francisco.

Etched with a cursive Florence behind the ruffle.

Measures approximately 5 1/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4". Probably better for a slim wrist. Can be worn with the ruffled part up or down...

Spectacular design in this wide, bold silver overlay bracelet by Hopi Manuel Hoyungowa ( 1953-2011) who was an active silversmith since the 1970's having learned from Preston Monongye. The bracelet measures 5 1/2" around in the inside with an additional 1 1/4" opening. It is 1 7/8" wide and weighs a solid 84 grams. It in fine original condition and hallmarked as shown. An amazing, precise pattern perfectly executed.

Detailed and deeply hand carved in heavy 980 silver this early brooch designed by Spratling features the feathered serpent Quetzalcoatl of pre- Columbian myth. In beautiful condition & weighing 53 grams the pin measures 2 1/4" across. Pictured on spratlingsilver.com where author Phyllis Goddard explains that this pin design was included in a 1937 Brooklyn Museum of Art exhibit of Spratling's work. Spratling designs are included in the permanent collections of LACMA and MFA Boston.

This elephant is done with a black resin body, gold tone metal trunk and tusk, sparkling clear rhinestone marquises and crystals, green emerald grass stems. A particularly nice Art Nouveau 14K yellow gold brooch in the form of a floral spray. The strap-like leaves are worked in shaded green enamels, and the flowers are made from freshwater "dogtooth" pearls centered with old mine cut diamonds. The pearls have particularly attractive silvery luster and their irregular shapes beautifully mimic the frilly edges of flower petals. The back retains the original pinstem and clasp. Marked by Henry Freund & Bro.

A nice pair of mid-century 14K yellow gold cufflinks set with blue sapphire cabochons. The rectangular faces are engraved in a sunburst pattern, with one end rolled over. A round cabochon sapphire is set in to each end of the opening created by the rolled edge. The stones have fine slightly violet-blue color and good clarity. The backs have toggle closures. The cufflinks are not signed, but are almost certainly by either Larter or Krementz. Marked "14K".

A very fine Victorian tortoise shell pin inlaid with gold and silver in a floral and butterfly pattern. The design is beautifully executed and is a bit more ornate than much piqué work. The inlaid metals are engraved to add even more depth to the design. The tortoise is nicely translucent when held to strong light. The back retains the original pinstem, but the clasp is a replacement.
