An unusual modernist sterling silver ring with coiled silver wires by the firm Jens Peter Clausen Guðjónsson of Iceland. Signed JENS 925S, Hand Made and Iceland. Measures about a size 7. The top sits 5/8" high and measures about 1 1/4" across. Has a brutalist, asymmetrical feel. There is a small fracture on the bottom that looks original. This design really stands out! Great example of Scandinavian modernist design.
A well crafted sterling silver brooch or shoeclip by the Chicago silversmith Bjarne Meyer. Beautifully hand hammered silver. Bjarne Meyer later worked for Georg Jensen, USA. Measures 1" across and 2 3/8" high. Marked Sterling and Handwrought by Bjarne. Has an intricate three dimensional repousse floral design and a central green cabochon. Wonderful example of Arts and Crafts silver work.

A wonderful sterling silver cuff bracelet made for the United States Military Academy at West Point, (USMA), by the New York silver firm, L. Markowitz. Sterling overlay spells out USMA in Arts and Crafts stylized letters.

A beautiful Etruscan style ornate pendant or large charm in 14k yellow gold c1960. This 1" pendant (to the top of the mounted loop) measures 3/4" across; it has two hand carved genuine shell portrait cameos, one on each side and one left facing and the other right. This Beautiful belt buckle is made entirely of Mid-Victorian Hand-Carved Whitby Jet.
The Brooch is deeply carved with leaves and flower blooms – in great detail.
Today it is illegal to mine jet in Whitby because the only jet left is in seams in the walls of the cliffs over the town. To remove it from the cliffs would cause them to tumble down and destroy the town. The two remaining jet
cutters today have to rely on pieces that wash up on the beaches of this seacoast town...
This Korda 'riding guard' from the Thief of Bagdad is gold plated base metal. This item was inspired by the guards on horseback who, in the film, make their way through the crowd, for the princess' arrival. This item was manufactured by the Rice-Weiner & Co, of Providence, Rhode Island. It is hallmarked with Thief of Bagdad, Korda and what appears to be a check mark 3 on one side and 61 or 6r on the other side. 2 1/2" x 2 5/8" . Excellent condition. Circa 1940...
A pair of Taxco, Mexico Sterling Silver earrings with Bronze central domes by William Spratling. These earrings were in the 1945 catalog.
Measure 1 1/4" across. Marked on the back of each screw back with the conjoined WS and Spratling Made in Mexico.
