This Korda 'riding guard' from the Thief of Bagdad is gold plated base metal. This item was inspired by the guards on horseback who, in the film, make their way through the crowd, for the princess' arrival. This Alexander Korda 'Thief of Bagdad' cloaked rider pin is silver colored base metal. This pin is considered a masterpiece of costume jewelry some of which were produced by Rice Weiner inspired by Korda's 1940 film.

Here is a sensational sterling bangle with fretwork and crushed turquoise. Signed JEG Taxco 925 with an eagle 2. Weighing 53 grams, the inner diameter (closed) is just shy of 2-1/4" and the piece is 7/8" wide. Remnants of polish. The photos make the turquoise appear green but it is blue with a hint of green.

A vintage modernist sterling silver cuff bracelet by Danish silversmith, Palle Bisgaard in a tiered curved shape. His torque necklace, part of this same line is included in the permanent collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This is the widest version of this cuff, with an extra tier at the bottom edge.

Measures about 5 1/2" around with an opening of 1" and 3/4" at the widest. There does not appear to be much give so it is better for an average to slender wrist.

A vintage modernist sterling silver ring with two orbs surrounded by multiple ribbons by Elis Kauppi's studio Kupittaan Kulta Oy, Turku Finland. A sleek Mid Century Modern design.

Measures about a size 7.5 but may be able to be resized without affecting the hallmarks because they are on the side.

In very nice condition with minor tarnish, tiny nicks along the edge of the band and some minor surface scratches.

This desirable pin is full of jazzy faux diamonds and brilliant green rhinestones that sparkle and glitter like there is no tomorrow. And that’s just what it was about during the flamboyant Deco period... glitzy and flashy.

The broach measures 2 1/2” across and 1 ¼” deep. It is in excellent vintage condition with some slight plating wear and guaranteed vintage.

His items are rare because he only produced jewelry between 1935-1943 and was killed in WWII.
