Vintage Mexican silver Maestro Beto is the signature on this beautifully hand chased, solid show stopper. The chain is a swirl that measures .25in. tall while the drop is a 2 1/8th in. diameter circle with a synthetic color changing stone. It shows off blue, pink and purple hues depending on the light. The weight is a hefty 57 grams and is made with thick silver. The wearable length is 16in. I have never seen anything made by Beto that was not well executed, just LOOK AT THAT NECKLACE!

This Victorian Scottish pebble brooch features an oval, scrolled and gadrooned picture frame which test to approximately 9K with 10K acid. (The solution dissolves very slowly the mark on the stone.)

Dating from the late Gerogian early Victorian eras, this agate was mined, polished up and beveled to show off its opaque colors and translucency.

The reverse features a fine working t-hinge and longer, earlier Victorian pinbar with c-clasp...

This lovely necklace features 13 madeira citrines, 3 clusters of 3 each, and 4 set singly. (Citrine is the birthstone for November, said to bring optimism and joy into life – just what we all need!) The central cluster has a pearl dangle. The rich rose gold is marked 9ct on the clasp, but it tests as a weak 10kt (not unusual). Wearable length is 18-3/4”. It is in excellent condition...

This strikingly beautiful pin is an interesting mixture of the Art Nouveau and Victorian styles. The Victorians loved to use real insects in jewelry. This particular type was a favorite.The Nouveau jewelers loved naturalistic motifs, but generally didn’t incorporate organic substances – yet the design of the framework is very Nouveau. Designed by Frank Hess for Haskell in the 1950's, perhaps earlier. This elegant set has the old Haskell horseshoe name plate on the back of the brooch (see picture).Beautiful glass flowers with matching blue pronged rhinestones and beads. Double filigree backing. Brooch is 2 3/4" by 2 3/4", clip earrings are 1 1/2 by 1 1/4".

We have an early cuff and earring set that is marked with only Mexico Sterling. The filigree is thick and heavy. The frame going around is firm. The curls are precise and great care was made for the prongs that hold the stone to have the feel for the rest of the design with filigree loops. A 14K blue topaz and amethyst hoop design pair of earrings circa 1970s. These vintage yellow gold pierced hoops are set with genuine blue topaz and amethyst gem stones. A 10K emerald and diamonds ring from the 1970s. This size 7 ring features a lovely pear shape emerald (it looks natural but could be a grown emerald) flanked with two rows of 5 single point genuine diamonds along with three claw-set single point diamonds on each side of the stone. These wondrous bumble bees are a Margot de Taxco signed creation. She is known for her fantastic enamel work. The earring clamps work and are the thickest best working clampers I have put on. The enamel is PERFECT. These are a published design in the Penny Morrill books on the Mexican Silver Renaissance.

A modernist sterling silver necklace by the noted NYC jeweler, Ed Wiener.

Has two curved and flattened links and a central longer piece with a cultured pearl nested in the center. The links are connected by curved bars with orbs at each end.

Measures approximately 14 1/2" around. The necklace lays gently on the collarbone due to the curvature of the design. Hook closure allows for an extender to be attached if needed.
