A handsome and heavy pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks in the classic baton style. The surfaces are decorated with a fine stippled pattern lending a dark patina similar to higher-karat gold. The backs are plain beveled rectangles. The connectors are marked "18K S.&F.".

This is an early design from Margot de Taxco, and it is spectacular. Composed of gorgeous repoussé swirls with tiny beading, this necklace lays perfectly. Closes with a tight and secure tongue in box. Collector quality. Center measures 4 1/2" wide, 3 1/2" tall. Closed, wearable length is 17". Weight is 89.1 grams. Richly colored azur-malachite stone is paired with warmly glowing sterling in this chunky modernist Mexican silver bracelet signed by none other than the maestro of Piedra y Plata, Felipe Martinez. Martinez is one of my absolute favorite Taxco silversmith and a superb lapidary as well. He has an uncanny ability to pair silver with stone that works every single time, as if the two materials were just made to be together...

This ring is the match to the pair of Patania cuffs listed. The same gorgeous design and execution, it is a size 5 and weighs 20 grams. The face of the ring is 1 1/4" long and 1" wide. Fine condition. Signed as shown. This ring looks stunning all on its own but is a show stopper when worn together with the cuffs.

A very nice Retro 14K yellow gold statement ring set with an imposing lemon yellow emerald cut citrine flanked by natural ruby cabochons. The split shank with a cage setting holds the citrine only at the very corners, so from the top, the entire ring appears to be one large expanse of gemstone. The rubies provided a nice pop of color. Tested and guaranteed 14K.

A rare hand wrought modernist link bracelet and matching earrings in Sterling Silver by the well respected jewelry teacher and author, Philip Morton. He is the author of the book "Contemporary Jewelry" where he demonstrates jewelry making techniques and highlights talented and noteworthy artisans. He helped found the Society of North American Goldsmiths in 1968.

A heavy classic belcher chain link necklace in 12K yellow gold. The chain is heavy and solid enough to suspend any of the heavier Victorian lockets or large pendants. It also looks stylish worn simply as a chain. The lobster claw clasp is a replacement and is 14K. The chain itself tests 12K.

An important, rare modernist bracelet by the renowned African American jeweler, Art Smith. Made of woven, riveted and patinated copper.

Measures 5 3/4" around with an opening of 1 1/4" and 1 3/4" wide. Marked with the 'Art Smith' script signature in at least two places. Looks like there is also a third partial strike. Very good condition with some minor surface scratches and areas of tarnish.

A delightful Georgian harlequin ring featuring a marquise cut citrine surrounded by a border of alternating green and red stones—emeralds, rubies and paste. The mixing of natural and paste stones was not uncommon for the period. The citrine is foiled to impart a reddish-orange body color from certain angles. The stones are set in a closed-back setting. The shank is simply enhanced with a fleur-de-lis on each side where it joins the crown...

Lovely vintage sterling and moonstone ring by Georg Jensen Denmark. This has an early Jensen hallmark, dating it 1915-30. The ring is a size 8 3/4 but can be sized. Weighing 5 grams, it is in fine original condition with hallmarks as shown. Charming.

Art Nouveau 14K gold crescent pendant necklace set with round brilliant cut diamonds and rubies. The quality of the gemstones is superb, with VVS2/G diamonds and vivid very slightly purplish-red rubies that show no indications of heat treatment. In Victorian and early Edwardian jewelry, the crescent shape symbolized feminine power personified in the moon goddess Selene/Juno. Brides were often given a crescent pin to wear during their honeymoons...

A fine Art Nouveau medallist brooch depicting Demeter (Ceres), goddess of the harvest, in 18K gold by Louis Rault. She is shown in profile with several of her attributes a tiara of wheat and poppies and a scythe. The wears a rose-cut diamond earring, a diamond toga clasp, and a third in her tiara. Louis Armand Rault was a lead designer for Boucheron 1868-75 and this is one of his signature designs. The brooch is stamped with French 18K gold marks and also with an illegible maker's mark...

A bold beautiful Mexican Silver & Amethyst bracelet by the famous Fred Davis. Each of the six heavy sterling silver links is set at the center with a deep purple amethyst cabochon stone. The bracelet measures 8" long by 1 1/4" wide and it weighs 60.7 grams. Hallmarked with the FD mono, Silver Mexico. Some light age related wear and tarnish. Heavy 18K gold figural watch fob seal depicting a Napoleonic grenadier (1804-1812). The soldier is depicted in the midst of tamping down his musket. The details are beautifully worked. The base appears to have had the original monogram removed. The bail is stamped with French 18K gold hallmarks.
