A very fine, beautiful Art Nouveau gold brooch featuring a row of three kittens sitting on a diamond-studded platform. The kittens are finely cast with excellent attention to detail. An unusual and very fine Victorian 14K yellow gold hinged bangle bracelet. The front is decorated with cutwork in a wheat pattern enhanced with ropetwist borders in the Etruscan Revival style. A lovely double-sided 18K yellow gold and beveled crystal porte-photo (“photo carrier”), the gold rim simply decorated with a bound reed design in the Louis XVI style. It is cleverly constructed with a hidden screw mechanism that allows the gold frame to expand so the crystal covers can be removed for adding or changing the contents. A terrific pair of earrings in the form of round shakudo plaques set in 14K yellow gold borders. Each of the matching Meiji-period discs features a Japanese immortal or scholar along with a fearsome dragon. Details of the dragon’s scales and fins and the man’s staff are picked out in gold and copper highlights. The gold borders are simply decorated with a ropetwist motif. The whiplash curve outlines are studded with seed pearls and the whole suspends a baroque freshwater pearl. A nice 14K yellow gold locket, the front cover decorated with an ornate scene of two hunting hounds sniffing through tall grass for their prey. A picket fence can be seen in the background and then a sky lightly engraved with clouds and a sun or moon represented by a star-set old mine cut diamond. The back of the locket has a nice 3-letter monogram (“MAC”) original to the period. The interior retains its original frame inserts. Tested and guaranteed 14K gold.

A charming antique Art Nouveau 10K yellow gold, seed pearl and diamond drop necklace/ lavaliere. The openwork mounting is set throughout with seed pearls and two European cut diamonds. The diamond measures 2.8mm and 2.3mm, weigh 0.11 cts combined, are Sl1 in clarity and G-1 in color. Hand engraved on the back is "10467". Measures 20" long. Weighs 3 grams. Condition is near perfect with smaller diamond chipped.

Antique English Victorian long necklace with a watch clip in 9 karat gold. Late 19th century. The clip was used to hold items such as lorgnettes and watches, or to thread through a muff so it could be worn around the neck, falling at or below the waist. Marked A.C.C. 9CT on the clasp and also marked 9CT on a cartouche at the top of the chain. The hinge of the clasp is brass, shown on both sides in photos. A cherub reaches down to touch her shoulder. The upper edge is set with a fine 5-pt ruby of slightly purplish-red color. Locket designs of this complexity are quite uncommon.
