A pair of Arts and Crafts hammered sterling silver bar pins or brooches by the Art Silver Shop of Chicago. Each has a central fresh water dog tooth pearl.

They may be purchased separately or as a pair.

The longer one measures about 2 1/2" long and 1/4" wide. The shorter one measures 2" long and 1/4" wide.

Both brooches are marked on the back with Hand Made, Art Silver Shop, conjoined TASS hallmark, and Sterling.

Beautifully crafted, each has a warm patina...

Description: An Art Deco vintage 14K white gold carved genuine shell cameo brooch c1915-20. This 1-1/2" x 1-1/4" cameo closes with a safety catch and it has an IX or XI engraved on the back. This item is in good original condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a stress crack visible below the woman's chin and a loss to the shell to the left of her hair where the shell doesn't meet the setting...

A delightful Imperial Austrian silver brooch set with three reverse-carved Essex crystals by the Imperial jeweler Georg Adam Scheid. The domed pin is finely engraved in a basket-weave motif and is pierced by three Essex crystals, each depicting a lap dog, perhaps a Pekingese. The dogs are well carved and colored, with tiny blue bows under their chins. The crystals never had a mother-of-pearl backing like those produced in England and France...

An Edwardian 9k pearl and paste stones brooch circa 1900 - 1910. This antique 1" across yellow gold pin has a 5.7 mm genuine pearl in the center. The pearl has a nice cream-color lustre, and the four surrounding stones are synthetic emeralds (or green paste) and the rest are clear paste (or possibly white sapphires - all of these open-back stones are untested)...

A well crafted sterling silver brooch by the Chicago silversmith Bjarne Meyer. Beautifully hand hammered silver. Bjarne Meyer later worked for Georg Jensen, USA.

Measures almost 2" across and 1 1/4" high.

Marked Sterling and Handwrought by Bjarne. Has an intricate three dimensional repousse floral design and a central turquoise cabochon.

In fine condition with minor tarnish. Rollover clasp holds securely.

This pretty pin is in the style of Murrle, Bennett and Archibald Knox. The design is that of a heart interlaced with a navette-shaped frame (this interlace-type motif is also called “entrelac”). It is centered by an oval turquoise, and has a safety chain – always useful! Unsigned, and marked 9ct. It measures 1-1/2 x 3/4", and weighs 2.6g. A pretty pair of Art Deco 12K yellow gold, coral and pearl tassel earrings. Lengths of gold chain studded with small pearls and coral beads hang freely from the pearl surmounts. The coral has attractive, uniform color and the semi-baroque pearls have especially bright luster. The earrings have a lot of movement when being worn and would have paired nicely with the long chains and fringed gowns fashionable in the 1920s. Tested and guaranteed 12K gold (clutches are 14K).

This lovely sky-blue enameled pendant tests as silver, probably sterling. It has two shades of light blue enamel on the front, highlighted by flourishes in silver. The dropper is also enameled in shaded hues of blue. The enamel continues on the back in sky blue – such wonderful attention to detail! Excluding the bale, it is 1-1/2” long by just under ¾” across. There are two tiny areas of enamel damage on the back, and a few areas that could use some cleaning, but basically it is in excell...
