An elegant pair of French Art Nouveau 18K yellow gold earrings designed in a openwork pattern of irises. The flowers and foliage are highlighted with delicate engraving. The gold surfaces are enhanced with the soft matte texture typical of French jewels of the period. The wires appear to be replacements and are stamped with French 18K marks.

This wonderful brooch exhibits a foliate, flowering branch motif. Its 3 circular, petals are slightly convex with striations to central buds. The curved stems are adorned with the same buds / balls (just a bit larger). This piece measures 1 5/8" x 1 1/4" x 1/4". The back is marked STERLING with the Carl - Art (CA with an arrow through it) maker's mark: Carl-Art, Inc. Providence, Rhode Island). This pin is circa 1950's or 60's. An elegant very early Edwardian 14K yellow gold ring of navette shape set with an interesting spotted or moss agate cabochon. The heart on either side of the center stone says it all, what this ring is all about. The center diamond is an approximately 0.16Ct brilliant cut diamond that has I color and SI2 clarity, and set in a miracle setting. On either side of the center stone there are two single-cut diamonds one of which is set in a heart shape design. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.20Ct. The ring is a size 5 ¼ and it can easily be sized.
A handsome pair of mid-century 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces collet-set with rectangular tablet-cut pyrope-almandite garnets. Garnets such as these are typically very dark, but these stones have superb clarity and a lively deep orangy-red color. The fine engraving on the gold surface beneath the garnets shows through and imparts just a bit of sparkle. The toggle backs are fully stamped with French 18K gold marks.

Davis designed this Art Deco sterling & amethyst bracelet in the 1930"s. Signed FD SILVER MEXICO the bracelet is 6 3/4" long X 1" wide. Both silver and stones are in beautiful condition. Clasp is tight and secure. Fred Davis designs are included in the 20th century Mexican silver collection at Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Penny Morrill has written about and featured Fred Davis works in several of her books on Mexican silver including WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE.
