A very handsome pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks in a strongly linear, architectural style. The faces are set at one end with iolites cut as sugarloaf cabochons and at the other with bluish-violet chalcedonies cut as triangular cabochons. The use of transparent, intense bluish-violet iolites with softer translucent chalcedonies in the same color family is an inspired choice and really sets these cufflinks apart. Fabulous lush vintage circa 1940 or 1950 red coral necklace, natural and undyed, in graduated very large branches, with a dark silver spring ring clasp. It weighs 92 grams. 23 inches wearable length and 1 inch wide at center. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. Photos enlarged to show detail.

Pretty late Victorian pink and white shell cameo set in a 10K yellow gold frame with floral engraving. The back of the setting has both the original pinstem and the original folding bale, so that the piece can be worn as either a brooch or pendant.

Origin: America, ca. 1900. Condition: excellent, except a fracture near the left edge (perhaps a flaw in the shell itself). Size: 1" x 7/8".

Spratling gold designs rarely appear on the market. Here he uses hand-carved spondylus shell, 18K gold beads & coral shell to eye-catching effect. Each earring measures 1 1/2" high x 1 1/4" across. An Austrian deep red crystal layered flower brooch pin and earrings set from the 1950s. This superb, flashy and vibrantly coloured set includes the layered 2-3/8 x 1-7/8" brooch which has a safety clasp and the matching 1-1/8 x 7/8" clip-on earrings. Each piece has a black patinated structure and the pin's layers are loosely and independently attached so the top layer moves freely. The cobras on the choker and earrings are not the least intimidating. Rather they bring a smile and a sense of admiration for their whimsy and fun. This set is among HAR's masterpieces of fantasy figurals. From a gold plated rope chain a teal green cobra curls. He is bedecked with topaz iridescent rhinestones and chunky purple stones. Necklace is 18" with closure in the front. Clip earrings match the cobra head and stones on the necklace. 1 1/4" by 1 1/4".
