An Art Deco style sterling silver bracelet from Mexico with four bezel set amethyst carved masks alternating with domes and curved bars. The stones have some inclusions. We have seen the same bracelet with the FD mark for Fred Davis.

Marked Sterling Mexico on the clasp. Measures 7 1/4" long and 1 1/8" wide. Box clasp holds securely. Has some minor surfaces scratches, a few dings on the sides, some tiny flea bites to the amethyst and a little tarnish.

Truly a statement piece, this vintage sterling silver bracelet was designed and signed circa 1940's by Taxco, Mexico artist Hector Aguilar(1905-86). Spratling Brooch Pendant which bears the first phase marks as shown is an iconic design from the Mexican Silver Renaissance. All the amethyst have the teat shape which is the original cut for the stones. There is no chips or cracks to the stones. It is a 3 inch circumference and has a weight of 71 grams. This is a substancial piece. It can be worn to clasp a shawl and hold considerable weight. Add your own chain and thread it thru the barrels and have a necklace!

This Coro brooch is very talented. It can be worn as seen, or it can be removed from a bracket on the back and worn as two clips. Its flowers tremble (ok, wiggle) when the brooch moves. It is enameled and has lovely pave and channeled rhinestones. Each clip is marked Coro Duette. 3" by 1 5/8". Very chunky.

A beautiful and rare Retro 14K yellow and white gold floral brooch featuring carved jadeite leaves and a carved rock crystal blossom. The rock crystal has an opalescent quality that appears much like moonstone. Both the front and back surfaces are finely engraved to suggest floral textures. The jade is brightly colored and contrasts nicely with the golden stems and leaves. The back is marked “14K”. Carved gemstone floral pins are quite uncommon.

This pair of estate oval carved jade earrings is set in 14Kt yellow gold settings with none pierced screw backs. The 15 X 12 millimeter oval carved jade pieces are prong set in the center. The overall measurements of the earrings are 19 X 15 millimeters.

We are offering a necklace marked Silver Mexico and it weighs 60 grams of heavy repousse. There are 12 onyx cabochons and all the bezels are well built which certainly indicates a higher quality workmanship. The height is just under one inch. There are no chips, dents or repairs on this treasure. There is a dark natural patina that I have not touched. The S links are often associated with Matl, Matilde Poulat's work and they do give this necklace a very special appeal...

This Los Castillo early hallmarked necklace was designed by Margot Van Voorhies when wed to Antonio Castillo. Together they started the shop Los Castillo. This is one of the most stunning designs in the Mexican Silver Renaissance. The length is 18 inches long and a fraction over 1.75 inches tall. This impressive Mexican silver link bracelet, probably made for the tourist trade, has a distinctive and quite unusual design. Very rare Hector Aguilar bracelet that measures 1.25 in. tall and 7 in. long. The pyramids have a measurement of 10 mm. in height giving the bracelet great dimension. 87 grams is the weight and the patina is natural and gorgeous. The condition is without repairs and damage. It seriously appears to have hardly been worn. I do not like to use the word rare as all of these treasure made by the top tier Maestros are rare but this one deserves that title. An excellent example and collector quality.

This Reja camel pin is sterling vermeil with a faux ruby crystal. It is hallmarked Reja and sterling.

A very fine Retro Moderne brooch in the form of a three-leaf clover, each leaf fashioned from an heart-shaped aquamarine, and centered with a pearl. The aquamarines are simply framed in gold collet settings with halo wirework accented with beading. This is an original 14Kt yellow and white gold diamond engagement ring and a matching diamond band set from the 1940-s. The engagement ring is centered by an approximately 0.20Ct full-cut diamond, and the center stone is flanked by two single-cut diamonds on either side. The matching band is set with five single-cut diamonds. The approximate total weight of all diamonds is 0.30Ct. The ring and the band both are size 7 ¼ and both can easily be sized if needed.

Featured on page 28 of the book SILVER MASTERS OF MEXICO by penny Morrill, this is the Hector Aguilar Fertility Bracelet with Dimpled Dots. It is in 940 silver and c.1940. One of his most well known designs, this bracelet measures 7 1/2" end to end, is 1" wide and weighs 102 grams. It has a pin closure. One of the dots in one of the domes is punched out. It is visible in the photo. I believe this is original to the making of the bracelet.Signed for Hector Aguilar as shown. A classic HA bracelet.
