This 'Showgirl' with long wavy bejeweled gilded tresses fur clip has size and aesthetic appeal. It is a very satisfying motif to collect. She is3"x 1 3/4". She is made up of two separate parts in different finishes.In this case her face is platinum finish and her tresses are golden.
In "American Costume jewelry by Brunialti & Brunialti, v. 2 p.164. she is called "Female Head" from 1941. Vogu;e, October 1. 1941 called her "platinum head" .
All of the 36 wonderfully matched square cut diamonds are channel set in an 18Kt white gold 2 millimeter wide eternity band. The size of the band is 5 ¾ and the approximate total weight of all the diamonds is 0.75Ct.
Today we have a vintage Mexican silver parure made by Maestro Sigi Pineda. Sigi has had a long career in handmade jewelry within the Spratling era. His work is heavy, made with excellent stones as this parure also has. The obsidian is extreme sheen on the necklace and you may see silver dots that sparkle on the other pictures which is the camera reacting to the sheen in less light. The oval faces are inlaid with onyx and mother-of-pearl in a checkerboard design surrounded by a band of opaque blue champlevé enamel. A delightful Victorian 14K yellow gold stickpin in the form of a smoking monkey. The face is beautifully detailed and he grasps a small pearl at the edge of his mouth to represent a cigarette. A vintage 18K yellow and white gold ring set with a .33 ct round brilliant cut diamond by Cartier. The colored gold is worked in a geometric design around the diamond. The diamond is graded G color, VS2 clarity. The ring has a substantial presence due to the width of the band. The interior is signed "Cartier", is marked "750", is dated "1989" and has the serial number "278QO.25".

A sterling silver brooch #82, originally designed by Georg Jensen himself before 1910. Based on the hallmarks shown on this example it was produced between 1910-25.
Measures about 1 3/4" in diameter. Marked GI in a dotted circle, Denmark, and style #82 C. There is another dotted circle that is worn in the center. May have had the GI 830S mark.
In fine condition with some surface scratches and a warm patina.

Circa mid-century, this bracelet was produced by Los Castillo.
It's a hand-wrought piece with a large presence, composed of four curved sections. There are three pendant/dangles/pendulums attached to the center section, and each panel is separated by three spiral circles with oxidized recesses. Closure is a tight and secure tongue in box.
Measures a closed, wearable length of about 6 1/4". Width where the the pendants fall is 2".
Weighs 75.2 grams.

Bold high-set modernist crystal ring by Swedish designer Gison Liedholm. The setting makes quite a statement, soaring a full 3/4" above the band. Made in the middle of the 20th Century. A striking 9 strand sterling bracelet with chiseled design terminals by Navajo silversmith Johnny Mike Begay who worked at the White Hogan Shop in Scottsdale, AZ. and also worked on his own. It measures 5 1/4" around in the inside with an additional 1 1/4" opening and is 2 3/4" wide. Weighing 59 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed JMB as shown. A very bold statement on the wrist.

A very good set of silver and turquoise watch tips by noted Navajo silversmith Benson Boyd. Each tip is decorated with “chip inlay” of turquoise accented with punched decoration. Chip inlay is typical of Boyd’s work. The tips are attached to a stainless steel band with a deployment clasp. Each tip is stamped with Boyd’s mark. The tips were originally purchased in Denver in 1976.

These great earrings are made by NAPEIR, during the 1950's-1960's. They were designed during NAPIER's sterling silver line that incorporated floral motifs and geometric shapes.
