This pin is 2 3/4" long by 2 high.

Made of gilded sterling silver, this lovely pin features intricately applied bands to imitate wirework in a scroll design. The pin is set with a pink coral-colored glass cabochon that exhibits minor wear at the very top. It has a very secure C-clasp and is marked sterling on the back. It is conservatively dated to around 1960 (could be earlier), and is possibly Asian. It measures 1 1/8 inches across.

This elegant pair of vintage 14Kt yellow gold earring has a tailored look. The posts and omega backs not only make the earrings sit well on the ears but the combination makes it secure as well. The earrings measure 7/8” by 5/8”.

The repousse work is outstanding on this design 543 Los Castillo bracelet. It is 2 inches tall with a hook closure. The old linear hallmark and the design itself shows that this was the work of Margot Van Voorhies when married to Antonio Castillo. Together they formed the taller Los Castillo. These highly decorative cuff links, made by Gorham Co. of Providence, RI, feature deeply embossed scrolls enhanced with green enamel paint. A fabulous antique garnet five strand beaded necklace with a garnet decorated slide clasp. Circa 1900, from a Philadelphia estate, and I also have listed a garnet hinged bangle from this same estate. The 3-D design is so beautiful with rhinestones triple layered to resemble flower heads as the focal point of the necklace and earrings. The incredible colors are another reason for the strong attraction. The rhinestones are superb, saturated with color and so bright they mesmerize.

An exceptionally fine, heavy pair of 18K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces hand-pierced with an ornate depiction of a mythological griffin. The workmanship is superbly done with heavy chased detail throughout. The surfaces show a mix of polished and semi-matte finishes. The backs have an ingenious folding mechanism that clasps the cuff without being too obvious. The clasps are marked with 19th century French patents, as well as hallmarks for 18K.
