A pair of vintage modernist sterling silver cufflinks by American studio jeweler, Ted Lowy. Square sterling with a smaller square corner inlay of bone. Measure 5/8" square. Marked Ted Lowy in script and Sterling. Have some minor surface scratches and a little tarnish. Toggles function appropriately. Toggles are marked Sterling and with a patent number. Great mid century design.

Beautiful 5.2 carat Rubellite Tourmaline set in platinum with six diamonds. Simple and elegant, the ring is approximately a size 7. The diamonds on the sides are well cut and matched and weigh approximately 0.10 cttw. It is stamped on the inside "10% IRID PLAT". The overall weight is 4 grams.

A link chain with a past, looking good in the present. This is a late 19th century chunky gold plated link chain comprised of two-banded circle links, Measurements: 15" long x 3/8" wide. Very good vintage condition, wear to the plate.

This is a fine pair of antique elongated oval shaped chalcedony and sterling silver double-sided cufflinks. The stones have a beautiful white opalescent color, marked on back STERLING, circa early 20th century; Measurements: 3/4 in. long. Condition is excellent.

A fine 14K yellow gold locket, the front cover decorated with deep translucent guilloche enamel over an engine-turned background surrounded by a reeded border enameled in opaque white. The front is centered with an old mine cut diamond. The trefoil-shaped bail is an especially nice touch. The interior retains the original frame insert. The bail is marked for 14K and has an unidentified maker's mark.

Wonderful deep carving on this sterling silver bracelet, signed by artist, titled "The Bear", 1970s era. Measures 1 1/8" deep, is 6 1/4" on the outside, with a gap of 1 3/8", and is slightly flexible. In the traditional Northwest Coast form, the bracelet is curved, with abstracted form lines creating a cultural figure, in this case, a bear. The work is especially fine, very deep carving with cross hatching and detailing over the entire surface...

A blue enamel sterling silver WIF initials pin brooch from 1910 1920. This elegant 1" pin has the stylish WIF initials against a turquoise enamel ground. It has a safety pin style clasp, it is stamped STERLING and it weighs 7.3 grams. A good conversation piece if you invent a name or phrase to go with the initials (polite or otherwise)...

A handsome pair of Victorian 14K yellow gold double-sided cufflinks, the square faces highlighted with a hammered texture and star-set with very good quality antique cushion-cut diamonds, sapphires and rubies. One pair is diamond and ruby and the other is diamond and sapphire. The stones show no indications of heat treatment. The ruby and sapphire are most likely from Burma and Ceylon, respectively...

Heavy sterling silver British ring with a chunk of iron pyrite. The English hallmarks and date this mod ring to 1969. The top of the ring measures about 3/4" in diameter X 5/8" H. The shank is 1/4"W and the ring is a sizable 8.5. It is signed inside the shank AMB which is the maker's mark and hallmarks for London, England and the year 1969. The ring is in excellent condition.

One of the most energetic Taxco modernists, Sigi Pineda enjoyed a long, creative career. Prolific and ever “on the move”, he was at his best working within the confines of minimalist design. Sigi rarely used “unnecessary” ornamentation, depending more on fluidity of lines to imply motion, colored stones to impart texture, oxidation to add dimension to what are mostly flat surfaces in his jewelry. A great looking Mexican sterling silver Metales Casados pin c1950s-60s. This anamorphic 2-1/4" X 1 3/4" pin has a black resin stylized bird on a silver, copper and brass ground; the silver backing to the black resin is stamped HECHO EN MEXICO 925 and it has a safety catch. It weighs 15.9 grams and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs...

This Norma sterling jelly belly grandma duck is 1 7/8" x 1.75" . It is hallmarked sterling,Norma and pat pend. It appears that Peninno worked for Norma. Lucite jelly bellies were copied from figurals originally done in gold and rock crystal.

Exquisite Victorian sticking fashioned from 12K yellow gold, the head in the shape of a horseshoe prong-set with a double row of graduated rose-cut diamonds and cabochon rubies. One of the rubies is an old mine-cut and another is a rectangular cushion-cut. In both cases, the stones appear to be original, as the setting fits them perfectly. Perhaps the jeweler was more interested in matching color than specific cuts. This was not an uncommon practice in the era...

Stunning statement vintage 16 strand necklace of undyed natural Mediterranean salmon to red coral beads, with a large goldtone metal sliding element with cannetille wirework, and a matching goldtone metal hook clasp. Circa 1940. 17 1/2 inches long and about 1 inch wide. It weighs 126 grams. The beads are about 1/8 inch wide or 5mm by 4mm. Excellent condition. Display form is life size. A fascinating pair of double-sided Continental silver cufflinks, each face featuring the image of Medusa. The faces are intended to suggest ancient coins, but the stylized lines are very much in the Cubist style. Though her appearance was capable of turning a man to stone, Medusa's image was often used to ward off evil spirits. The backs are stamped with French import marks.

Fabulous 1960s or 1970s big glass beaded necklace with jewel tone art glass beads, most likely French. Also from the same estate, coordinating pierced earrings with black and white glass cabochons which are very similar to the black and white embedded in some of the beads on the necklace. There is a silvertone bead at the back that looks like a French style screw barrel clasp, but it appears to be a faux decorative clasp. It is not needed as the necklace is long enough to go over the head easily...

An Ellis sterling silver butterfly wing tie bar circa 1910 - 1920 in a vintage case. This Edwardian vintage 2-3/4" x 5/8" tiebar has a central butterfly wing decoration under glass. A gorgeous enameled clover, worked in several shades of green is featured in this ring converted from a Victorian earring. The enamel has a soft velvety appearance and is accented at the center with a small pearl. The clover is set on a sturdy 14K gold split shank. A vintage pair of cufflinks, the faces constructed of banded agate carved in the shape of antique pistols. The stones are nicely matched and have attractive markings in shades of orange, caramel and cream. The silver mountings are marked “Sterling”.

A fine Victorian 14K gold mesh and onyx cameo bracelet. The center cameo depicts a classical youth flanked by four maidens, all in Greek or Roman attire. The cameos are nicely carved with good detail. The clasp is concealed by the male cameo. A heavy gold mesh makes up the remainder of the bracelet. The gold has a slight rose tint that contrasts nicely with the black and white of the cameos. The tongue of the clasp is stamped "14K."

This Antique Victorian Scottish sterling saddle link bracelet is circa pre 1880. The stones have interesting color. The saddle links are very unusual. Excellent condition. No hallmarks. It is very close to 7" inside circumference and 5/8" wide.

A dramatic, wide cuff set with oval pieces of turquoise-colored glass cabochons in beaded bezel mounts. The cabochons alternate with pairs of stud-like protrusions that contrast with the Victorian-like settings. This is a very old pre 1948 Mexican silver bracelet that is in exceptional condition. The 5 stones are barrel cut amethyst with no cracks or chips. The underside shows many work marks. The barrels have no splits however there are reflections of light that may appear so. The bead work was also very taken care of without damage. The height of the piece is 1 1/8th inches.
