A sterling silver modernist brooch by Phyllis Sklar, American Mid Century jeweler. This brooch has a thick sterling wire overlay with an oval moonstone cabochon on a darkened, oxidized surface. Measures 1 1/4" tall and 1 3/8" at the widest. Has the stylized 'p' hallmark, phyllis and sterling on the back. Nice contrast between the oxidized and shiny sterling layers. These modernist earrings feature polished, irregular-shaped composite turquoise drops attached to serpentine pieces of forged sterling silver wire, secured by curled ends. They hang from commercial screw backs that are marked (and test positively for) sterling silver and are in excellent working condition. The earrings measure approximately 2 1/4 in. long. They are otherwise unmarked.

A sterling silver modernist pendant necklace with a brutalist design by Danish silversmith, Niels Erik (NE) From. Pendant is textured and oxidized and has a layer of gold in the center.

A wonderful, textural, sculptural sterling bracelet designed by Knud V. Andersen for Anton Michelsen, Denmark, circa 1960. The unique texture resembles that of a tree bark. It measures 8" end to end and is 1 1/4" wide. Weighing an impressive 105 grams, it is in fine original condition and signed as shown. The pin closure is secure and there is also a safety lock. A terrific piece of mid-century Scandinavian jewelry.

These great cuff links, circa 1950s, measure 7/8" x 5/8". They each feature a colorful fly fishing lure on a mother of pearl background. They are protected by celluloid and encased in brass. They are each marked ANSON PAT. PEND.

A handsome pair of 14K yellow gold cufflinks, the faces fashioned as ornate batons. Each of batons has a lobed device at each end similar to the head on a 16/17th century Ottoman ceremonial mace used to connote that the bearer carried the full authority of the Sultan Khan. This handmade clip exhibits a strong arts and crafts influence with a nod toward modernism. It features a hand-wrought leaf with incised veins and circular tool marks around the edges. Composed of two rectangular layers of sterling silver, top one curved and with a cutout comma-shaped design exposing a highly oxidized interior. The ring is marked sterling and has Joseph Skinger’s script signature mark. Skinger was a Vermont studio metalsmith who was most productive during the 1950s and 1960s; he died in 1967. Lovely large pendant with two cabochon moonstones and three cabochon carnelians flanking a raised depiction of two leaping fish swimming among abstract waves. The pendant is very large, measuring 2.5" in diameter. The hand made chain is approximately 24" long. Unmarked, but tests as sterling silver. Excellent vintage condition. With a "scissor" clasp. A delicate 14K yellow gold bracelet by Krementz fashioned as a chain of pansy blossoms. Each pansy is centered with a small baroque pearl. Alternating links are in a foliate style and are set with round brilliant cut amethysts. Pansies held special meaning in the Victorian period as flowers of remembrance. The use of purple and white gems mimics the flower’s most classic coloring. The cleverly concealed clasp is marked with Krementz’ hallmark and “14K.”

Wonderfully designed hand made necklace by MAYA, Mexico, c.1950's after a Hubert Harmon design. Maya frequently copied Harmon designs. Looks just like silver with a great patina, but probably made of silver plate because there are no Mexican silver marks. The locking mechanism is separated from the main part by black velvet ribbon.
