An abstract sterling silver brooch by Modernist NYC Silversmith, Henry Steig. Has white and black colored pearls on either side of an 'X' design. Measures 2 5/8" long and 1 1/8" at the widest. Rollover clasp holds securely. Signed on the back Steig Sterling. Thick sterling, darkened patina. Fine condition.

An unusual pair of twisted Taxco, Mexico Sterling Silver earrings with bronze or copper ends by William Spratling. We have not been able to find another pair in this design. Measure 3/4" across and 5/8' high. Marked on the back of each screw back with Spratling Silver which was used from 1940-44. Screw backs hold securely. Antonio Pineda was masterful with this design. Each stone of onyx is reflected by 4 silver mirrors. The bracelet has a length of 7in and a height of 1in. This is properly signed and is one of the Pineda's featured in the book SILVER SEDUCTION. The weight is 95 grams of 970 pure silver. The presence is rich and sleek.
