A beautifully made sterling bracelet of concave tear drop shaped links by Danish Modernist Bent Knudsen. The bracelet clasp has one of his ingenious screw bolt clasps. Measuring 7 1/2" end to end, it is 5/8" wide and weighs 75 grams. Fine original condition and signed and numbered as shown. A wonderful Danish Modernist design.

Sergio is another one of Taxco’s “enigmatic” names. Whether a maestro or a retailer is not known nor is their relationship - if any at all - with the other Sergio whose name is signed in script. Over the years of my buying and selling vintage Mexican silver jewelry, I have come upon a few examples of their work - and I loved them all. The modernist articulated necklace I am presenting here, very much in the spirit of Sigi Pineda’s designs, is the epitome of minimalism...

These earrings are unique as they are Taxco Mexico with a Native American motif. The "top" is convex with a diameter of 1". The 3 dangling leaves measure 1 1/2". They are marked 925 TS-14 MEXICO. They are in excellent condition and have good heft.

A 10k yellow gold diamonds ring from the 1960s-70s. This size 5-3/4 ring features eight single point diamonds in an attractive array. The shoulders are split and the setting measures 3/8 x 3/8". Well faceted pear shaped amethyst stones are set in a neo-Art Deco settings of soft triangular form. Clip-on backs, marked 14K. Very elegant and modern.

A Mid Century Modern pendant in sterling silver by Kultaseppa Salovaara, Ky of Turku Finland with eight light blue faceted bezel set stones. The pendant has a curved bale which is part of the design for an interesting effect.

An eye catching, substantial gold plate bracelet marked SAL. A thick chain attaches each section and there is light wear (spotting) on the back of the bracelet.The bracelet does not lie perfectly flat and measures 7" x 1/2".

A fine pair of lapis lazuli cufflinks mounted in 18K yellow gold. The front faces are panel-cut lapis spheres and the backs are round lapis tablets set in twisted rope borders. The lapis is fine quality with just a tiny smattering of glittery pyrite. The faces are joined by chains. Tested and guaranteed 18K.

Chanel, elegant as always. The heavy gold plating glistens, and each little pendant on all three pieces has a design created by the repeated use of the word "CHANEL". It creates a very interesting pattern. In addition, the earrings have many tiny clear rhinestones. A great set for Chanel lovers. Beautiful statement vintage 1970s glass necklace by Michael Moraux designing for his jewelry company Dubaux. American made with French glass beads and findings. Great architecturally designed silver and amethyst handmade pin by Kasityo, Finland, 1965. There are 2 different silver finishes - flat and grainy - that work together well. This sterling, Mexican fish pendant married metal is copper (to silver). It has an azur-malachite eye and is very well crafted. It measures 2 1/4" x 5/8". The onyx center is encased in sterling (top and bottom). The back is hallmarked MEXICO, then TAXCO MEXICO 925 with the silversmith's initials, AAB in the middle. The assay mark is # 1. It is in great condition.

This Kay Denning bracelet is 3/4" wide. The five links are enameled white with slightly raised red and blue "cookies". It is hallmarked twice Denning on the reverse. Fold over clasp. No damage to the enameling.

These oval cuff links display a well known Mexican relic character (see pictures). They are very well crafted with a copper eye and azurmalachite on obsidian. They measure 1" x 5/8" x 1/8". They are in fine condition. The toggles are marked ALPACA (but the faces are silver).

A classic pearl and diamond ring by Mikimoto. A single 8.4 millimeter pearl is set at the center of the ring and is surrounded by small round brilliant-cut diamonds. The pearl is of very fine quality, estimated at AA. The body color is cream with rose overtones. The surface is smooth and lustrous. The diamonds are of equally fine quality. Typically, Mikimoto uses diamonds in the F-G color range with VVS clarity. The shank is stamped with Mikimoto’s oyster shell hallmark and “K18”.

An elegant vintage 14K yellow gold and pearl brooch by Mikimoto. The stylized feather design is typical of Mikimoto’s vintage pieces and is particularly suitable for daytime wear. The pearls, ranging in size to 5.5 to 7.2 millimeters, have ivory body color with rose overtones and superb luster. The quality is estimated at A+1. The back of the pin is marked “K14” and bears the Mikimoto oyster shell hallmark.

#38 Vintage Giorgio Armani Prive Wide Cuff Vintage Armani Couture wide bronze tone mesh cuff awash with giant, fiery ruby color stones. The cuff is 1 3/4" (5 cm) wide with a 2 1/2" (6.6 cm) interior diameter and a hair over 1" (3 cm) opening. The stones are all present and brilliant. From around 1980, the cuff is in excellent vintage condition.

This brooch was designed by Kenneth Jay Lane with many colored crystals in green, red, clear, light blue and a single dark blue diamond cut crystal at the top. It is hallmarked "KJL" . It is 1 3/4 x 2" in excellent condition.

This Hattie Carnegie textured full bodied lion is 2 3/4" by 2" . He has green eyes and white enamel teeth. He also has a pierced mane. Excellent condition.

A handsome pair of cufflinks, worked in 19K yellow gold and featuring oval carved bloodstones enhanced with gold bead centers. The bloodstone has a nice deep green color with minute flecks of red. The gold setting behind the bloodstone is formed as a decorative floral design. The torpedo backs are connected by chains. The backs are stamped with Portuguese hallmarks for 19.2K gold.

This fine 3-piece set consists of cuff links and a tie bar / clasp. They are sterling silver. Each abacus has beads that actually move - are mechanical. They are 3 dimensional. The cuff links measure, 3/4" x 1/2" x 1/8". The tie bar is just under 2" long. Each piece is marked SILVER STERLING MADE IN HONG KONG. The set is circa 1970 and in excellent condition.

This colorful ring is a size 7.5. It has a nice design with a large, central, faux fire opal cab (glass). It is clearly marked with the Eagle Assay mark, #3. It is also marked MEXICO middle and is also marked MEXICO 925 and other marks (unable to decipher) in a circle with what looks like JCM in the middle. This ring is truly gorgeous with all its colors and is in excellent condition. I have taken pictures with flash and without.

A lovely 14K yellow gold 5mm cable twist bracelet with a gem-set station from the “Renaissance” collection by David Yurman. The square station features a square step-cut rhodolite garnet flanked with cabochon emeralds at the top and bottom.
