RARE and BEST Salvador Teran necklace I've ever seen and possibly one of a kind. Made in Mexico, c.1952, it is a LARGE pendant of a woman praying wearing a shawl and skirt measuring 2 3/4" long by 1 1/4" wide. The repousse work is outstanding on this design 543 Los Castillo bracelet. It is 2 inches tall with a hook closure. The old linear hallmark and the design itself shows that this was the work of Margot Van Voorhies when married to Antonio Castillo. Together they formed the taller Los Castillo. The links are rounded to fit the arm perfectly and are 6.75 inches long. An outstanding bracelet to add to a collectors wardrobe. It will be noticed by all that gaze upon it.

A classic pair of mmid-Century modernist cufflinks by Lucien Piccard, featuring a circlet of round brilliant-cut garnets around a central plaque of gold enhanced with a Florentine finish. Piccard more often used synthetic sapphires or synthetic rubies in his cufflink designs. An elegant Edwardian heart-shaped locket worked in 18K yellow gold. Spratling designed this eye catching "entwined hands" buckle in the late 1940's. Measuring 5" X 2 1/4" & weighing 49 grams the piece is in beautiful condition. The back loops will accommodate up to a 1 inch strap. The buckle can also be worn as a pendant. Spratling also designed a similar "hands" necklace. Hallmarks are WS 925. A later version, (c.1965) of this buckle appears on p. 147 of WILLIAM SPRATLING AND THE MEXICAN SILVER RENAISSANCE by Penny Morrill.

Composed of a highly oxidized white metal set with uncut chunks of amber, most likely secured with an epoxy. The construction is a bit craft-like, with areas of solder showing; the long bail is attached on the back and partially obscures the maker’s mark of A.D. Design, a Copenhagen firm formed by J. Andersen and E. Dennung (1971-1979). The pendant measures 3 1/8 inches long by 2 1/8 inches wide.
