This natural mineral crystal is semitranslucent and easily dyed with a linear fiber-like appearance and it is shown to good effect in this post-Deco era set. A gorgeous Art Deco platinum mounting sprinkled with diamonds and featuring a pair of round brilliant cut aquamarines. The crown of the ring rises well up off the finger, creating a sort of umbrella effect that nestles the aquamarines. The diamonds larger diamonds in the setting are old European cuts and the smaller ones are single cuts. All are in the H/I color range with VS clarity. The mounting is finished with expert milgraining and ornate piercing.

A very fine Victorian tortoise shell pin inlaid with gold and silver in a floral and butterfly pattern. The design is beautifully executed and is a bit more ornate than much piqué work. The inlaid metals are engraved to add even more depth to the design. The tortoise is nicely translucent when held to strong light. The back retains the original pinstem, but the clasp is a replacement.

Rare and beautiful muff chain from the Art Nouveau period. Made with 18K yellow gold links in a stunning nouveau design, interspersed with faceted garnet beads, 31 links, 30 garnet beads, total. Links are 7mm wide, garnet beads are 7-8mm in diameter. Total length is 54 inches, total weight is 54.2 grams. Estimated weight of the gold links is 34 grams, estimated weight of the garnet beads is 20.2 grams. Excellent condition.
