An organic mid century modern brooch by the American studio jeweler, Harry Osaki (1904-1985), who worked in Pasadena, California. Reminds us of a stylized fish.

This brooch, executed in sterling silver with an oval turquoise colored stone, measures 2 7/8" long and 1 1/2" at the widest.

This 'Showgirl' with long wavy bejeweled gilded tresses fur clip has size and aesthetic appeal. It is a very satisfying motif to collect. She is3"x 1 3/4". She is made up of two separate parts in different finishes.In this case her face is platinum finish and her tresses are golden.

In "American Costume jewelry by Brunialti & Brunialti, v. 2 p.164. she is called "Female Head" from 1941. Vogu;e, October 1. 1941 called her "platinum head" .

Circa 1950s sterling and amethyst bracelet by important mid 20th Century American silversmith Ed Levin. The thick solid sterling wire each terminates in a flattened, flared shape, each holding a single purple amethyst cabochon.

A very unique hand hammered sterling pendant and necklace with two green stones, (probably Chrysoprase).

Pendant measures 6" long and 1 3/4" at the widest. Chain measures 18" long and has a hook closure. Marked on the back Israel, 925 and an 'M' in a circle for the artisan's mark.

There are 'Y' shaped cut outs behind the stones so light can shine through. Striking design, lots of movement.

Gorgeous period art nouveau sheath with nude woman playing the harp sitting in the ocean waves with birds flying above by Unger Brothers, Newark, c.1905. The sheath probably held and can hold a comb, nail file, etc. and measures 3 7/8" long by 13/16" wide and the opening is 1/8" thick(so item should be a bit thinner) by 3/4" long. A pair of hammered sterling silver buckles by Edward H. Breese, who worked in Chicago from 1921-1940.

Measure 2" across and 1 3/4" high. Each one is marked on the back with the hallmark of EHB in a triangle and style number 126. They are also marked Sterling and Hand Wrought.

They are made from thick sterling and have a dark patina. Would make wonderful brooches.

A nice, early pair of cuff links from Newark, NJ, maker Krementz and Co. The 14kt gold oblong buttons have a recessed floral design, embedded with white, blue and yellow vitreous enamel. There is very minor wear to the enamel, visible only through magnification. The bridge bars are secure and exhibit no stress or wear; they bear the Krementz mark of 14 K. with an impressed collar button. They are lightweight, but well constructed, with the loops that connect the bridge bars on individual hinges....

A beauty from the past is this Art Nouveau 14Kt yellow gold bar pin. The pin is decorated by 3 multi colored enameled leaves and 4 2.5 mm oriental seed pearls. The length of the pin is 33 millimeters and the width is 6 millimeters.

It is always exciting when I stumble upon a Mexican chain necklace made of polished, tumbled hard-stones caged in sterling silver. When that example happens to be from the pre-1948 period, I am elated! This 14Kt gold vintage claddach ring has British hallmarks. The top of the ring with the crown is 13 millimeter wide the narrowest part of the band is 3 millimeter wide. The size 8 ¾ ring is in great condition and can easily be sized.
