A classic late Victorian gold padlock clasp. These were used mostly for bracelets but could also be used with necklaces. Today, they are often worn as charms or in their original function. This Victorian Scottish flush fitting agate panel brooch is 1 1/2" in diameter. There are no hallmarks which is fairly normal for brooches of this period.
