A spectacularly fine, museum-quality Victorian figural watch fob worked in 18K yellow gold and platinum depicting Aesop's fable "The Fox and the Grapes." The seal shows the fox's head, jaws agape, straining to reach a juicy cluster of grapes that are just barely out of reach. Every tiny detail of the fox's fur, teeth, tongue is beautifully worked, as are the leaves and distinct individual berries making up each cluster of grapes...

A nice 14K yellow gold locket, the front cover decorated with an ornate scene of two hunting hounds sniffing through tall grass for their prey. A picket fence can be seen in the background and then a sky lightly engraved with clouds and a sun or moon represented by a star-set old mine cut diamond. A wonderfully heavy vintage silver bracelet by Hermès. The bracelet has a triangular profile that stands well out from the surface of the wrist and a masterfully constructed so that it is flexible, but appears rigid when being worn. This bar pin is an original period piece from the 1920’s. The top is made of 14Kt white gold and the bottom is yellow gold. The open filigree work is typical of the above mentioned period. The center of the design is enhanced by an approximately 0.08Ct full cut diamond. The length of the pin is 2 3/8” and the width is ¼”. The clasp is clearly marked 14Kt incorporated into the maker’s mark.

Beautiful vintage French wired necklace in silvertone metal with rhinestone balls with prong set stones, clear faceted glass beads, and glass based faux pearls in champagne and very pale gray. The cover opens to reveal a glass-enclosed compartment for a portrait or other keepsake. A small piece of cloth soaked in perfume could have been added behind the pierced cover to provide a bit of relief from the smelly Parisian streets of the 1800s.
