A splendid, well made vintage 1950s crystal and rhinestone gold plated fly pin. Possibly Austrian, this unsigned pin measures 2-1/4" x 1-3/4" and it has gold plated filigree openwork "wings" and a safety catch. The stones include a huge faceted topaz coloured unfoiled crystal, champagne and cinnamon brown rhinestones and a teardrop cabochon crystal. An 18k double emerald modernist ring from the 1960s. This size 6-1/4 or 6.25 ring features two intertwined 9 point (by gauge) emeralds and it has a split band. A lovely late Victorian 18K gold locket enhanced with ornate pierced arabesques and pearl-studded laurel wreaths. The pearls have particularly nice color and luster. The cover opens to reveal a glass-enclosed compartment for a portrait or other keepsake. A small piece of cloth soaked in perfume could have been added behind the pierced cover to provide a bit of relief from the smelly Parisian streets of the 1800s. The original bail is also set with seed pearls. Stamped with French 18K gold marks....

This whimsical fob is a sailor's hand-carved whale bone ivory fist, a common motif during the Victorian Period. The fob is comprised of a beautifully detailed hand with pointed index finger. The heart shaped base of the piece adds a touch of whimsy and romance. Possibly a 19th century Valentines Day gift? It is attached to an antique gold filled watch chain. Size: Fob-1 3/4". The watch chain with all of its'original findings is 7" long. Excellent condition.
