This twisted enamel bangle of sterling silver resembles the work of Canadian metalsmiths such as Guy Vidal and John Larin, who produced highly textured designs during the late 1960s and 1970s. This bangle features a ribbed surface on both sides, with alternating pockets of burnt orange and dark maroon enamels, with one pocket left undecorated — possibly for stamping what looks like a mark of some kind on the reverse...
A fine modernist bracelet by Maya Mexico that is in the iconic Armadillo design made famous by Hector Aguilar. This bracelet, in brass with copper accents measures 7" long and about 2 1/4" across. Unsigned. Hook closure holds securely. Has tarnish and shows wear to the finish. Will let the new owner decide how much to polish. Outstanding design. Heavy and bold.
Here is a nicely crafted mixed metal pin designed with stylized silver oak leaves, berries and vines applied to a curved copper plaque. The piece, which has some heft, is secured by a safety clasp and a strong pin stem. The metal surfaces bear a warm patina; the pin is marked on the back with an impressed W and Handwrought. It measures about 2 1/4 inches by 1 3/8 inches. Weight: 19.7 grams

This larger bracelet measures 8" around and 1 3/4" at the widest. Has a secure box closure and safety chain. Nice warm patina. Interesting contrast of smooth and textured surfaces and polished and oxidized finishes.

A vintage modernist bronze link bracelet by Pentti Sarpaneva. Measures about 7 3/8" around and 1 3/8" wide. Has a box push in closure which holds securely and a safety chain. Marked P. Sarpaneva on the back of the clasp. Nice contrast of dark and light surfaces. Fine condition, classic design. 1960's.
This late 19th-century gunmetal chain has both length and strength, with a bold, stunning look. It features a secure spring-ring clasp and a glossy, blue-black finish, produced by electroplating a coating of iron over a white metal. The links are securely soldered, save for the end link, which may have had a jump ring. Unclasped, the chain measures 51 inches long.
An important, rare modernist brooch by the renowned African American jeweler, Art Smith. Has a copper ball caged in swirled brass coils. The ball moves for an interesting effect.
Measures 3 1/4" long and 2 3/8" at the widest. Marked with the 'Art Smith' script signature. Has a secure rollover clasp. In fine condition with areas of tarnish.
A wonderful example of Mid Century Modernist design.
A signed Dafri copper ultramodern pin brooch and earrings set from the 1950s. This Toronto Canada company made some great looking items and this is one of them - a very Jetsons kind of anamorphic style. This set includes the 2" across pin with a safety clasp and an applied copper planchet identical to the 1-5/8 x 1" clip-on earrings. Each has some mild black patination and the pin has the DAFRY signature planchet...
A large, modernist pendant, "Mustang" by Bjorn Weckstrom for Lapponia in bronze with light flame coloring.
Marked Lapponia, Finland and some other marks too difficult to read. Measures 3 3/4" long and 2 3/4" across. Heavy, three dimensional and substantial. Original chain measures 26" long and has the sliding clasp which holds securely. Very nice condition, surface shows some minor scratches and a little wear.
Wonderful example of Scandinavian design.
A heavy, dramatic necklace composed of three rows of interlocking links soldered together. The outer rows are copper, and the middle row is brass; both metals have retained their luster. The brass clasp is very secure and is marked on the back Mexico with a partial Tlaquepaque’s, and the maker’s initials FCS underneath. The necklace measures 7/8 inch wide and about 18 inches long; it is slightly curved. Weight: 81.5 grams

A pair of acid etched brass Arts and Crafts period brooches by Marshall Field & Co. Chicago. Larger brooch measures 3 3/8" long and 1 1/2" high. Marked on the back 'Made in Our Craft Shop, Marshall Field & Co.' Smaller brooch measures 2 1/2" across and 2" high. These brooches came together. The smaller one is not marked. Both brooches have 'C' clasps that hold securely. May be purchased as a set or individually.

This rhodium plated necklace has a spring-ring catch, it measures 14" long, and it has a central 1-3/8" x 3/4" drop and round and rectangular claw-set open backed crystal stones. A mid century modern abstract pendant in bronze by Eivind Hillestad, Norway.
Marked EH, and 700. Designed by noted Norwegian gold and silversmith, Leif Sverre Høvren Johnsen.
The pendant has a central carnelian colored swirled cabochon. Measures 1 7/8" long to the top of the bale and 2" across. Chain is 21" long and has a spring clasp that holds securely. In nice condition with some minor scratches.

Circa 1960 mid 20th century modernist fan rectangular station copper bracelet signed REBAJES for Frank Rebajes, the most successful modernist jewelry manufacturer of the mid century. Born in the Dominican Republic in 1907, he came to New York in 1923 to seek his fortune, establishing his own factory in 1932, and his own Fifth Avenue store in 1942.
