The plate measures 17 1/4" by 7 1/2 " (44cm by 19cm). The framed dimensions are 26" by 15". Appears to be in excellent condition. Pierre Courtin in one of the most important master engravers of the 20th century.

A contemporary (new/newish) oil on canvas painting of a late 19th century hybrid sail and steamship, (of the type common in the 1880's and 1890's), 24" by 36" (35" by 46 1/2" framed), unsigned. Beautifully hand painted by an obviously skilled artist. Condition is excellent. The attractive framing is very heavy and apparently of a dense wood. These sorts of paintings though not old and antique are appealing and being of more recent origin are usually found in good condition...
