Etching on paper, 16 1/4" by 14 1/4", with narrow metal framing, pencil signed at lower right by artist, who, if I read correctly the Russian on the reverse, is one VLADIMIR KOSTROMIN. An old original label on reverse has a 1978 date, so I would imagine the print dates to the late 1970's. The ink is a greenish black. Moisture has compromised the margins and mold stained and rippled them; reframing would help exclude that...

Large folio size print, sheet measuring 18 1/4" by 24 1/2" inside the mat, 27 1/4" by 33 1/2" as framed, titled at bottom. This image was produced by Currier in 1868, but I believe this example to be a high quality hand colored RESTRIKE of a later date.
